I just wanted to ask if anyone has ever tested these theories or knows of anyways to change the last name/battle.net e-mail.

Firstly, for battle.net e-mail I was wondering if you could contact Blizzard (with photo ID maybe?) and say that you have lost access to your e-mail and ask if you can change it.

For last name, I was thinking maybe you could tell them you got married and you'd like to place your account under a new last name?

My account currently is under all my information considering I'm OO, but I was hoping to trade soon and don't want my name showing up as Gerleen Shilmpoof on real ID/don't like the idea of not owning the e-mail being used.

Thanks for any responses :D

You can change the email, just call them and tell them you no longer have access to that email account. They will need the cdkey and sqa. The name, is there to stay, afaik, but you might try the name change idea ^^, and go from there.

Eh you need CDkeys? You dont think a photo ID would do it?

And I was thinking about telling either a sob story about how my husband and I just broke up and I can't bare to have the same last name as him on the account, or that I was just recently married and would like to have my last name changed to his (so we could merge accounts, maybe? or transfer to the same one)

well, with the CDKey, you don't need the ID. It basically already verifies the account. Again, it's something you can try. I know that one person in the past called them and changed the name, with the help of cust support, since her last name was a 2 part last name. The 2 parts, allowed one part to be abbreviated, so the got one of them un-abbreviated. So a name change IS possible. Just pray you don't have to show a marriage cert or divorce papers.

There will still be the issue that if anyone that buys/trades accounts with you use realID, your name will show up and not theirs. So I would suggest to try to change your name, and I have heard saying you got married works.
