The day after I bought it, the password was flubbed up. I might have messed something up on my end, I'm not sure. It was reset and given to me. Since then, the password has AGAIN changed. I've not been alerted. I was told I'd get full information from him when my payment cleared his bank account (and my bank has notified me that the funds went through) so I'm waiting aimlessly with nothing to show for the account. It's almost a week later, and I have no access to the account - no e-mail. I've been texting him atleast 2-3 times a day trying to a get a response. I'm tempted to call to reach him.

I even tried to do a PayPal refund a couple days ago, and it's still pending.

I want to give him the benefit of the doubt...but come on. Somethings gotta give. I either need my money, or the account. Not too much to ask.

I'm willing to work this out, let's hope the other parties are the same.

I do guarantee a refund in the event of something going wrong with the account. I do not guarantee refunds to people who claim to lose the information to the account, attempt to steal the money back on PayPal, lose the dispute and then go whining on the forums.

Account was bought from one Hitter420Run (AIM user name). I had to turn around and sell it to cover an issue with my bank. The seller does what I have always done, which is hold the SQA till payment clears to the bank account.

I informed Hitter420Run to message epichunter09 via AIM or Mmobay PMs with the SQA. Both parties agreed that this was fine (I received no complaints about this arrangement, IF YOU DID NOT AGREE TO THIS, A REFUND WOULD HAVE BEEN ISSUED), and that way, I would NEVER have even received the SQA, which I never did. Hitter420Run was cooperative in resetting the password the first time (why would he do that if he was just going to steal it?) epichunter09 fumbled his password. Hitter420Run reset it and I forwarded the password reset link to epichunter09. He reset the password, made some threats, and demanded a refund because he had to have the password reset. He still had perfectly fine access to the account, it is no one's fault but his own for losing the password he set for it.

It makes no sense to me to refund someone who has access to the account and has more information on it than even I received. Epichunter09 may claim to not have the SQA, but I don't listen too carefully to people who open disputes on PayPal for no reason.

Again, it makes no sense for Hitter420Run to reset the password at all if he was just going to steal it. If he was going to steal it, he would have never reset the password to begin with.

Hitter420Run is always available on AIM, whereas Epichunter09 is hardly ever on.

The last achievement on the character was attained 19 hours ago. SOMEONE is playing that account. There is no way for Epichunter09 to prove that he DOESN'T have access to the account, and if you contact Hitter420Run, I am sure he will remember that he reset the password for Epichunter09 and agreed to forward the SQA to him when my payment cleared to Hitter420Run's bank account.

I've been doing this since 2008. The only people who have ever opened disputes with me on PayPal have been people trying to pull a fast one. Even Beast666, with a ton of rep on Markee Dragon and Mmobay, tried to pull a scam off on me and was subsequently banned for it. I have never had a PayPal dispute in almost 4 years of doing this in which the person opening the dispute wasn't attempting to scam his money back.

PayPal sided with me because the evidence was clear. It's no different here. If you can 100%, beyond the shadow of a doubt PROVE that Hitter420Run scammed the account back, I *WILL* offer a refund. But if you can't PROVE that it's not you accessing the account, there's nothing I'm going to do for you. And the only way to prove this, is to get Hitter420Run in here to either confess or explain the situation as he knows it.

I came here solely under the hunch that you would attempt to pull something like this, and to show good faith, I am here, telling you what's going on and reasoning with you. The last account was the last, as I don't have time for games like WoW anymore. So I'm done. I'm not going to sit here and bicker with you for days when I'll just be repeating myself. I've said my bit, and any specific questions I will answer, but I will not respond to threats and/or anything asked by anyone but the administrator who is reviewing your illegitimate complaint.

You did say Hitter420Run would give me the information but alas, he never did. I talked to him briefly about it about a a week ago and he said he'd give me the information when it was cleared. I've yet to receive ANY information from him, and I cannot log into the account at all. I'm more than willing to work this out, so in the end no one will get screwed over.

I agree with you - it would make no sense for someone to refund the account if I had the information and had access to it - but I don't, which is why I'm feeling cheated. I have no way to prove that I've not got any information on the account, including the password - but clearly someone IS playing it, and that person is not me.

I have no need to "be pulling a fast one" on you. I got the account for a hell of a deal, which is why I was happy about it. However, the next day the information is changed to some effect, and I have no access to it - that's when things started going downhill for me. Hitter420Run hasn't responded to any of my messages on AIM in the last three days, and I'm about to log in and send him another one.

Foxster, it very well may not be you using the account - but as you are the one I bought the account from, you're bound to be my initial contact. I would not be making any claims if there was no basis for them.

I do truly hope we can reach a resolution.

Furthermore I want to add something - I fully agreed to the SQ&A business. But I agreed to it coming from you, since you implied you had full ownership of the account. It was only after the fact the bit about Hitter420 still being involved was mentioned.

I'm not on here very often to check.

I don't save chat logs because I find it a tad creepy. Saving chat logs seems more like something someone would do with intent to scam than it would be to cover yourself, since you can just go, "Oh look, I said THIS!" while making yourself look like Jesus and the other guy look like an idiot.

I know I PM'd epichunter09 here on Mmobay telling him that Hitter420Run would be sending him the SQA and this was during the time the latter was still responsive, so he could have checked with him at any time to verify. I never received the SQA.

Either way it's over and I'm done with this whole thing.

Apparently the Mage is being played by someone. I gave up trying to contact Hitter420Run over a week ago.

Whoever is playing it hasn't even changed the name of the Mage, and since neither epichunter09 or myself have access to it, I feel totally fine with linking the actual armory.
