I wanted to open up a thread to see if anyone had suggestions on some new forums they would like to see added. Not just new games, but general forums as well.

I was contemplating expanding the "Art, Banners and Graphic Design" forum to include a Web Developement and Market forum since many members have their own sites and would probably see some benefit from having it expanded past just graphical images.

So if you have any suggestions, please post here.
 
what about a complaints forum so instead of your inbox being full of complaints they can just create a thread in that specific area.
 
Well complaints about the forums can go in the Help forum and I'd rather keep complaints about individual members private via PM, otherwise I can see that just leading to more flaming.

Path of Exile Trade Section

Can we get a Path of Exile Trade section =)
 
LoL to have separate Forums for NA and EU :p but its still only about 2.5 pages a day i know u said get it to 3 so we will see :D
 
I was contemplating Path of Exiles, but was waiting for reviews before I decided to add it or not. I don't see any activity for it in the "All other Gaming Accounts" so I'm going to continue to wait

I'm also going to hold off on breaking up the Lol forum until it gets more than 3 pages per day.

1) What are the odds of putting a link to the "Rules / Regulations" to the Main page top navigation area? Feel that it is needed as this is an active site and the rules need to be clearly visible instead of sifting through things to find it.


2) Do a sub-section for the Website thing you were talking about. Keep it under the Art area. Kind of like you did for the "rant / rave" thing.


3) Maybe the removal of the http://www.epicnpc.com/trader-feedback/ section. I'm not saying delete it, but possibly take it down so that its not view-able (search function will still bring up anything needed)


4) This thread should fall under http://www.epicnpc.com/help/ if im not mistaken since "If you have a question, comment or suggestion about the main site or the forums, this is where to ask." is the note attached to that section :)

Bring the old chatbox back.
 
A closed beta section would be nice. Anything requiring a key to be ingame.

Also, age of wushu (its open beta April 2nd I believe.)
 
Just don't turn it into ownedcore :)

I'd like to see a price check thread, or perhaps "Ask a Veteran" kind of thread for trade advice.
 
we had a Dragon Nest forum for about 6 months and it only got 12 threads total, so it was removed. I don't mind adding it back if there's demand for it, but I would have to see at least a half dozen threads in the "all other accounts" forum
 
What about adding a section or information on why users were banned or suspended. Sometimes I'd really like to know and maybe I'm missing something and not looking in the right place but yeah lol.

Do you have a ban list, if not maybe something like that would help with a way to search it via username/skypes/aims etc?

EDIT: ok so I am blind :D

I have an idea for a sub-forum you could slap down by water cooler. Ideas and Feedback.
Basically a forum where you go and post threads about cool ideas you may have for your services or about anything you may want some kind of verbal feedback on.

I know i'd kill for a section like this cause i'm always having nifty ideas and not enough people to ask for feedback on said idea.

The ban list is a addon and it currently does not have that feature.

you can just post that in the Watering Hole, there's not enough traffic to that to add a subforum.
 
Could we please have a Ragnarok Online 2 Section? as i feel this will slowly get bigger when it comes to the tradeing department for this game.

already suggested to mike that he makes a ragnarok/ragnarok online 2 section but alot of other stuff has been going on that has been more important so will have to see wat happens

A non trading section where people can discuss the latest MMOs strats and perhaps even computer specs and hardware.
 
Not sure if this would fall under "general Buy/sell forum" but a forum for selling software, services, and such?

PhP Repair/building services (website building)
Graphic work
postloop spamming/like *******
etc

To clarify a bit. A forum for selling, services, software (legally of course, not torrented, and not windows licenses), intangible goods and such.

Software specialty service:
Building websites, Graphical work for websites/touch ups, script writing or creating modules, website building or repairing, composing music,

Bumping services:
postloop like *******, video views, likes, etc.

Sell Chat Servers:
Mumble, vent, teamspeak, etc

General Hosting services:
Ex: Pay to rent a channel in a chat server (like mumble, vent, etc) or make a forum your guilds home


This could be for anything web related, a lot can fall under this just for websites, but not limited to. This idea would focus on the intangible service aspect. I found general sell thread to have a lot of physical items. Maybe break the General Forum into Software/Hardware or physical goods and intangible services.

One last time, if this all falls under General Forum, sorry :D
 
I just don't think we get enough of that type of traffic here.

But I'm not EpicNPC and he will decide if he wants to make a more dedicated "Non-Gaming Services" type forum.
 
Well, it is possible traffic could increase if we offer a more extensive forum/section to that intangible services. The market is there for it, and tapping into it can allow epicnpc to grow.

I originally signed up for account buying/selling (as I did at egammingsupply, before Monarch and some other names ruined the site and drove it into the ground). While there I took notice of a lot of people selling services/intangible goods and it worked out well. I personally bought a few ventrillo servers from there and rented some out as well. I would just like to see this site grow to become something even more! :D

Like you said, it's ultimately up to EpicNPC, and I figured I'd share an idea.

Speaking of ideas. On a totally irrelevant note I think it would be beast if epicnpc had a mobile app/mobile site. Could have a free version and maybe a $1.99 or whatever price you wish to set on it. Paid version could have simple features, maybe denote an icon showing support of site...whatever. tl;dr: Mobile app/site!
 
That would all fall under General Buy Sell Trading, but we do have a separate Graphics marketplace forum already Graphics/Website Market

The forums also runs on Forum Runner for mobile phones

If I see a demand for additional non-game account forums, I have no problem adding them, I just don't really see any demand yet.
 
How about a news/guides/other section in each of the sub-major forums To be honest I dont use any forum accept lotro, just an idea

Have you ever thought of opening a facebook page? Put a link on the forums it could increase your traffic by 20% maybe even more after the first month.

it is not really about posting anything on a facbook epicnpc, it is about the following
1.) set up a like button on epicnpc.com
2.) the more people that will like it the more exposure your facebook page and epicnpc.com will receive more traffic.
3.) basically what it will do is have a chain effect lets say 10 gamers like it, in return everyone of them gamers friends will see that them 10 gamers like it,
if 10% of there friends check out that epicnpc fb page most of them will check out this website in return. In a few months your fb page will in return give your main epcinpc.com allot of traffic. with little or no work. I did this for another company and his total traffic increased 45% In the front end it just take a little bit to set up the facebook like button and the rest will fall in place.
