For the experienced sellers - Help with a high level account purchase

I'm about to purchase a high level account for a considerable amount of money - 8/8 T6 + 8/8 T6 Off Spec, 10,000+ gold, 20,000+ golds worth of mats banked, full season 3.

Im buying directly from the original owner who is happy to provide me with anything i need.

I want to transfer the character to a different PVP server as soon as I buy it.

I've never done this before and i'm very concerned about the account being banned/locked.

The seller is in the US and plays from a US IP, i'm from Australia and would be using an Australian IP.

How is the safest way to go about doing all of this?
What information can I change on the account without raising suspiscion?

Am I better off doing an account>account transfer, or is this way too risky now?

while i am not too worried about the account --> account transfer or IP etc..., i am worried about the person you are purchasing this toon from scamming you out of your money.

please contact me directly and i will provide as much help as i can when i have a moment.

getting the said user you are purchasing from to post on THIS thread below me would be a good idea so i can match an AIM to a forum account should you need my help.

I don't think account IP is much of an issue. Myself and another member are currently playing each others toons and I have done so before with other players.
Like bones said, getting scammed for the money is more of an issue, contact him for advice on how to avoid it.

One thing I forgot to ask was is there any details on the original account that I can safely change?
I suppose the only thing that's necessary to change is the password and email address? Is it safe to do this still?

yes, it is perfectly ok to change the email, password. however, not the address (if you REALLY want to be safe)
