I've had this account for several years. I haven't posted in over a year or so. This page took forever to get first few thousands of followers. Then it took off when I figured out which photos were topical and trending. I never paid for ads or likes. People just sent photos and i posted and they shared/tagged friends etc... It was first a formal fashion men's feed. A lot of suit companies paid me to post their styles. It was good money for very little work but it just wasn't me. Fashion companies have money to waste. I never charged them much but the ones who were proud of their designs and photos paid $10-$20 for permanent placement min of 60 days. When I told these suit designers I was done posting for money and would no longer be displaying formal attire, they weren't happy. I deleted most of the formal attire to switch to a more casual and hip fashion feed. This is when my feed started getting likes and followers from beyond USA. I posted as much as I could but I had too much on my plate.
In order to get the account rolling again the following must be done. It's easy if you really want it.
Post great photos several times per day. Tag people. Start off with 1 per day with good hash search tags. Then build up and post more. Consistency is key. With this page title, you get organic results (people find you) and you can do anything you want within men's fashion. However, I am lazy when it comes to social media and it's time-consuming to post daily but if I did i am positive the account would have over 75,000 engaging followers by now.
I never really engaged much (comments) with followers. If I did my life would have been consumed. A lot of men's fashion feeds contacted me to partner up with cross promotion but I was never interested. If I did, the follower count and engagement would have been off the charts.
My price is only $150.
Obviously, no refunds but i will give you advice. it's been a while though. Remember it takes work to run a Instagram page
