Filter System Update

We're making an update to our filter system today to include some new features, but we ran into a slight issue with the update. At this time we have disabled the filters until this is fixed, but we fully expect everything to be working by the end of the day.

In the mean time, below you can find out more about these new features once they're enabled later today

New Filter Options:

• Filter threads by usergroup - If you only want to see threads from members in certain usergroups, now you can!
  • Phone Verified users
  • Phone + Upgraded users
• Filter by payment method with Trade Guardian - For those members using Trade Guardian, you can now quickly and easily see all threads that accept EpicNPC Credits or Bitcoin. We have added tabs, to quickly filter the threads as well as added icons to those threads.
• New Secondary filters - Some games require more than just one filter, so we have added a feature that allows us to add secondary filters. This should make it even easier for buyers to find exactly what they're looking for.

update: All issues have been corrected and the filter system is fully enabled. It will take us a few weeks to add secondary filters to forums as we have to determine which forums need it, but over time you should see more and more forums having them.

Ah, the buying/selling filters are not part of the new system yet. Just click "selling" or "buying" next to a thread that uses it and it will sort all threads by that filter. We'll consider adding that to the sidebar in the next update.

I don't see the purpose of phone verified filter when everyone who opens a thread has to be phone verified.

lol, good point. The phone requirement was only added about 6 months ago, some lesser active forums still have a bunch of threads from members that have not yet verified a phone on the first few pages. We'll keep the option for another 6 months, then we'll remove it.
