FFXIV legacy account (or trade for D3 account)

I’m looking to get my hands on a XIV account eligible for the legacy (discounted) subscription fee.

Will consider any level (multiple 50s to no existing characters) – though a leg-up is preferred as I’m a previous player.

I have for trade a D3 account with a level 45(-ish) Monk with excellent gear; I’ll also consider cash payment for the right account ^^

As a point of clarity – I was so disgusted at the original state of the game that it got uninstalled and the discs went in the trash Do I need to buy a new set of discs to install the game or can this be done via a client?
Also, I am UK-based – does it matter if I have a PAL copy if I obtain a US account?

I have a 50BLM/WHM full AF, Choco and the now unattainable goobue, Legacy account, and tons of mats for crafts, but mostly for weaver. Has a few excellent items but mostly normal stuffs without melds. Make an offer if interested.

Hi Artemys - thanks for your information on this^^

After some research my understanding is that you can play any account on any client, however the things that must match up are billing address (region) and game account (region). This isn't a problem as people from outside the US can register with a service like usunlocked - a bit of a pain to keep the card loaded, but nonetheless a 3% load fee is nothing compared to the 23% legacy discount.

I also agree that I'll need to buy a new set of game discs, but this is not a problem as they sell (even new) for next-to-nothing, at least in the UK.


Still open to any and all offers! Not here to low-ball, I'm happy to make the initial offer and/ or negotiate via PM. I just don't have the time to browse forums due to work commitments during weekdays

 

You should be able to play the game on any Client whether NA EU or JP as long as you have long in credentials, it was the same for FFXI. I don't believe they've changed that. The only thing that may get effected is your payment/subscription options. To my knowledge you would have to buy the game to be able to download it or CDs.
