I've been put out of 80$ Today... so I want everyone to be careful out there. First from [email protected], then from Schlutte. (I was just dumb to even deal with Schlutte), but anyways... I want you guys to learn from me. I'm taking leave from this site. Good luck all, and Don't get scammed :/

Go to your bank and file a claim with them, call blizzard and tell them your new GC isnt working. As long as you still have it still you can get it back.

Gift doesn't mean you can't get it back, you moron.
Call paypal, say they made you gift it otherwise you wouldn't be able to deal, and you never recieved the item.

PayPal won't do anything about it. I know, I've tried. If you tell them the deal wouldn't have been possible and that they told you to gift the item, they will say one of the following things:

• Maybe you should have backed out of the deal.
• Gift transactions are called "gifts" for a reason. They are not intended for business transactions.
• Try to get in contact with the person directly via phone/e-mail/mail to work out your dispute.

I've had to call them multiple times regarding "gifts" and I always end up on top, just call up your bank if you're scared of paypal ( a lot of people are obviously ) and say you didn't make that purchase, or you were scammed.

Super simple.

Linking your bank account to your PayPal is probably a mistake 99% of the time.

In most cases, it's better not deal with PayPal if you're the buyer since you can win the dispute and still not get your money back.

No, I don't feel that it is right to lie under these circumstances. I was very honest and straightforward (which I knew would hurt me) in the hopes they would sympathize. In the end, they didn't because they could not. I ended up seeking my compensation after calling his mother, so it ended up alright afterall.
