Hi everyone,
I've been working on this account for a while now, and I've gotten every class up to 85. (I've always had more fun doing quests than any of that end-game stuff.) Just as my personal method, each of those characters has a crafting profession along with the appropriate gathering profession, all trained up to Cataclysm levels (i.e. not every profession maxed out with every recipe, but at the point where you'll never need to farm old content for mats). The alchemy is max, and the inscription is pretty close; the enchanting is over 500, so you can disenchant stuff. Of course, the mining and herbalisms are all at max.
All characters have 280% flying, except the Death Knight who has 310%.
Nine of these ten characters are of the Alliance, chilling together on the same server:
Human Rogue (Alchemy/Herbalism - Transmuter)
Human Paladin (Blacksmithing/Miner)
Night Elf Hunter (Leatherworking/Skinner)
Dwarf Priest (Enchanting/Tailoring)
Draenei Mage (Jewelcrafting/Mining)
Human Warlock (Inscription/Herbalism)
Dwarf Shaman (Engineer/Mining)
Gnome Warrior (Engineer/Mining)
Worgen Druid (Engineer/Mining)
Another server features my lone Horde character:
Orc Death Knight (Jewelcrafting/Mining)
This, of course, ignoring the few alts who you're probably just going to delete anyway. As far as relevant characters go, I've never faction-, race-, or server-changed any of them, so you'd be free to do whatever you want to them. The Hunter is currently serving as quartermaster for a metric buttload of heirloom gear (most of the Wrath-era stuff), including:
strength plate shoulders and chest
caster mail shoulders and chest
agility mail shoulders and chest
caster leather shoulders and chest
agility leather shoulders and chest
caster cloth shoulders and chest
two-handed mace
caster staff
one-handed caster mace
one-handed sword (thrash blade)
two daggers
gun
two caster trinkets
two non-caster trinkets
dread pirate ring
Let me know if you have any questions.
