Eve Online

So I decided to try out eve and It seems like a pretty solid game. Definitely has a big learning curve but starting to get the hang of it. I choose amarr as a race because I heard a ton of people play caledari and the whole gallente drone thing didn't interest me.

Just thought I'd make this post and see who else plays. You can add me (Moneyshotz).

Also would like to get some people's thought's on Amarr. I heard Caledari are best at mission running but I just didn't want to be what everyone was ya know.

Doesn't really matter what race you are ( xept for faction warfare ) You can fly anything as anything. Eve is a very unique game and my experience with it is somewhat limited but anyway hit me up on AIM and ill hook you up with some ISK so you can buy some decent starter stuff.

any update on you experience holmes? I am looking to get into the game, was wondering if it is worth it?

Yea it's def worth it. You really just gotta clear your head of other MMO's cause it's so different and you can't compare it to anything. Just go slow and read all the help tips. Also the GM's in game actually invite you in a private chat your first couple days and answer any questions. Also there is a rookie chat that you can ask questions and they get answered. If your interested in it organix I can send you a buddy invite which will give you 21 days of free trial versus the normal 14 day trial.

I am intrigued, I have been reading up on it a little bit and looking at some videos. What is the main goal of the game?

The main goal is what ever you want it to be. I personally do PvE mission's but you can mine, trade, pirate, manufacturing, PvP. I don't think there really is a goal except maybe to train all skills (which will take forever!) and maybe have the best ship possible?

I have played EVE for a short time with my boyfriend & just recently bought it at the store so that I can get back into it. I still have a lot to learn so any advice would be appreciated. [= I will probably keep an eye on this thread when I do start up again!
