I certainly hope EpicNPC staff can stop being biased regarding feedback given towards long time member.

I'm literally using your own words against you from https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/how-to-report-a-feedback-dispute.389547/
and in this case, you should own up to it.

Your own word:

Please let me know if I can change my review to neutral for this user. @firstn20

I don't know how its possible that you don't allow negative or even a neutral review towards a user trying to sell a false account. You also made it plainly obvious that neutral can be given if seller made claims he/she cannot back up. Your own words "We don't want sellers making claims they can't backup"

Where is the consistency here?

The quote you posted relies on the fact the user had to actually make a purchase. This is not an inconsistency.

If a user makes a purchase and sends payment, then has to wait for an extended period of time even though the sale thread says "instant delivery" they are then allowed to give negative feedback because the seller's thread is not accurate.

In your case nothing was purchased so feedback can't be given.

We require an exchange to prevent abuse and blackmail. If an exchange wasn't required, basically anyone could give negative feedback because they talked to someone. This would allow bad actors to demand discounts from sellers unless they give large discounts or competitors could easily attack each others reputations my making multiple accounts and contact their competitors. Then they can give negative feedback to them.

The amount of work required for us to then investigate all these negative feedbacks where nothing was exchanged would be monumental and a waste of time.

I'm sorry you disagree, but feedback will never be allowed if something was not exchanged.

This would allow bad actors to demand discounts from sellers unless they give large discounts or competitors could easily attack each others reputations my making multiple accounts and simply contact their competitors. Then they can give negative feedback to them.

That doesn't make sense.

I'm obviously not going to purchase something if the user is selling an account under false advertisement or attempt selling with deception. Shouldn't that be acceptable to a negative / neutral review to prevent further fraud for the particular user??? Are you saying that if I just send him the money through PayPal friends and family like he asked me too, that I would be eligible for this review? I'd lose out on $1250 but hey, at least he gets that negative feedback.

This doesn't make sense. No one would do this.

If a seller made a claim to discuss trade towards a certain time frame but ended up not actually being there, how is that not ground for neutral review? Your quote was based on a response from this very similar question in which you provided this particular answer.

Not even neutral review???

Without something being exchanged we will not allow any type of feedback. I'm sorry. Proof of exchange is required. This is standard on nearly all marketplaces, we are not doing anything that's unusual.

If the seller has a website, you can post a review about it on one of those review sites. However I believe many of those review sites will also request proof of sale if the website disputes the feedback, so you might be back in the same situation.

I'm sorry, we will not be changing this requirement for feedback.

The admins aren't bias, it's common sense. Accounts I sell or have sold in the past are insured by me. So if anything happened to them, I always compensate the buyer, hence my perfect feedback. Also I just want to say I have never dealt with a person like this in all the 15+ years I've been on this site. Extremely rude, childish, immature, impatient and has a nasty mouth. For a guy claiming he doesn't have a lot of "time," he sure had a ton of time these past two days trying to give me a negative/neutral feedback, three times in a row. I was going to contact this user via Discord to explain and answer his questions but I realized there's no point, and went ahead and posted my dispute threads. I also caught him in a web of lies in just casual conversations with him, and here just an example of some:

1. He claimed he owned an account when he actually doesn't. You're Tommy T******* right? I did research on you and you don't own that account.
2. He claimed that no one was interested in an account that I wanted to buy in the past and sold for $1600, when in reality it sold for $2800. I know because I wanted that account and was in contact with the seller.
3. He claimed that two high profile sellers on this site are the same person. Again another lie. I know both members and did business with both on them in the same week back in 2017 and they both had different names (On Paypal) and personalities. He thinks one of them is inactive here on epicnpc, but he just changed his username.

Please don't talk to me or try to contact me. I'm done wasting my time on you. I let the Admins and Moderators know ahead of time and I will report you for harassment, in the case that you follow me around the site, because you've shown your level of pettiness and obsessiveness. I'm done and I won't reply again and will go about my business, thanks for your help admins Epicnpc and EpicNPC CM.

I did everything at work lol. I don't care about your 15 years of service here. No one should be excluded for selling with deception. I find it sad that you find this an accomplishment. Shows how much you've accomplished in life.

He claimed he owned an account when he actually doesn't. You're Tommy T******* right? I did research on you and you don't own that account.
I don't know what you're talking about, and I don't know what account you're talking about. The only account I bought here was from Bootybay for the TBC mount which is why you contacted me because you were interested in TBC mount in bag for your own personal account.

I'm going to find out who you are, your name, where you live and your personal wow account. I'll make sure to do what I can get you banned. You've also send pictures to some people I know on discord regarding your personal account.

If you got the guts to contact me, I'll send you a few of those photos. I'll make sure to send em over to Blizzard. Have fun starting over.

I have given @Seven7272 a temporary ban for making threats against other users. Our rules are very clear on feedback and how it works. If you do not like those rules feel free to not use the website.

What will not be done is retaliation against a user personally because the rules do not work how you want them to work. If this behaviour continues I will issue a permanent ban. Beings he feels it is biased I posted this public so they could make their own opinions on “mod bias”.

Hmm interesting threats considering I work in Law Enforcement IRL. Also I don't ever send screenshots of my personal WoW account. I had it since WoW launch, so that's another lie. Anyway like I said I'm done with you.
