Epicnpc App not giving push notification for new PMs?

Just downloaded it earlier and tested it with a friend to PM me, but somehow still not getting notifications.

Yes, I have the "App" notif ticked for most things (only removed for reacts/follows/watch).

Does it only refresh after every certain period, or do I need epicnpc to be always on (main focus on it)?

Yes, they seem not to be working. Thanks for reporting it. We're investigating and it should be fixed soon.

Please make sure you have check marked "app" not "push".

Push notifications are desktop browser push notifications.
App notifications are on your phone via the Epicnpc app.
