EpicNPC 2017 Roadmap

The past year has been a busy year for us. We made more changes and added more features in 2016 than any other year before and in 2017 we plan to keep this pace.

For 2017 our goal is to transition Epicnpc away from being just an advertising platform and focus on enhancing the buying, selling and trading tools to allow seller to make faster sales, while making it easier for the buyer.

Below are some of the features that are either currently in development or are planned for later this year.

• Graphics updates
  • ​We did some minor graphic updates last year and in 2016 we plan to do more.
• Credit Raffle System (DONE!)
  • ​Members will be able to win credits by using our upcoming raffle system
• Support for G2A payments
  • We plan to integrate G2A payments, including support of Paysafecards and other payment options.
• Profile update (DONE!)
  • We plan to update profiles to make contact between members easier by better managing off-site chat info for Skype, Discord, etc.
• Add Pricing info
  • ​We plan to allow member to enter pricing info during thread creation.
• Credit system update (DONE!)
  • Our current transaction history page could use some work, so we plan on making changes to this page to make it more useful.'
• Notify user when mentioned (DONE!)
  • A system that will notify a member if their username is mentioned in a post
• Location info update (DONE!)
  • Based on the phone number counry code, we're going to display the county time zone for a member so it's easy to see when someone might be online.
• Reminder PM for feedback
  • If someone completes a sale/trade and after x hours they still don't give feedback, we'll send another reminder PM.
• Various system improvement & bug fixes
  • Many current system will receive updates to improve performance, add functionality or fix known bugs.

Some items might get pushed back, others added, so this is my no means a complete list. As the year progresses you'll see new features being added that aren't on this list. We normally plan out 3-4 months at time, then re-evaluate to see what we need.

Looking good. But think twice before implemating G2A pay. They had some agreements with Blizzard so you will need to delete entire WOW gold trade section to get their merchant account. if you really want, you can probably get account set up through a different website and secretly put it up here on epicnpc. I wouldn't recommend it though. Their official stance doesnt allow wow gold trading and this is why we ended up not using it.

We already have an account with them and they have not yet mentioned anything about WoW gold. . If that becomes an issue down the road, we'll remove G2A as a payment option.

Adding G2A Pay or at least Bitcoin option for purchasing sticky threads and banner advertisement would be nice. For the time being, PayPal is only option to buy banner advertisement and sticky threads. Since PayPal is bannned in my country, I can't buy those products. If you already have a merchant account on G2A Pay, implementation shouldn't be too difficult. I am excited to use G2A Pay to purchase banner advertisement and sticky threads.

You can already use Bitcoin for sticky threads, but it's not available for banner ads yet. We'll be adding bitcoin to banners when we make the G2A update.

If the whole g2a stuff works out, maybe you could allow to buy credits with it and then use credits as the forum currency to buy other things or trade it for real money etc.

I know a forum that does a similar stuff and its pretty good for its users. Dont wanna mention or advertise it here, but just suggesting new things

Wondering if there will be a new forum layout in the upcoming Graphics updates?
For my taste, it would be fun to see something more custom.

Credits can already be used as a forum currency. Using Trade Guardian you can trade your credits for game items, accounts or services if the seller accepts credits as payment, and it's free, we charge no fee for this.

Credits can be sold in our "Currency Forum" for real money, but EpicNPC will no longer cashout credits for real money.

Once G2A is implemented, there will more more options to buy credits with instead of just Paypal or Bitcoin.

@Yoshi, there's no plan for a full site redesign. We're just going to target areas of the site so those areas look nicer.

No one has ever complained about the "edit time stamp" when you edit a post, so most likely this won't be changed since I don't really see it making much of a difference.

Was just hoping to avoid having it on every single post I create. But anyhow if you don't feel like changing the edit time then I'm fine with it as well. (-^.^-)
