I'm happy to announce that EpicNPC now has a global email authenticator that is active on all accounts.
When someone logs into their account from a new IP address they will be asked for a 6 digit code that is sent to their email address. Once the code is entered that IP address will become white-listed.
This extra security is meant to keep EpicNPC member accounts safe and out of unwanted hands. Please make sure your email password is not the same as your EpicNPC password.
This should also discourage users from using a proxy when visiting our site. Those that do will constantly be asked for the email authentication code every time they login.
If you already have the Google Authenticator enabled, the email authenticator is disabled on your account and you will only be asked to provide the G Authenticator code.
