Credits!!! Lots of credits. Currently, the game mechanics are best rewarding us with Painite mining. It is SOUL CRUSHINGLY boring, but holy cow, it pays out.
In account farming on your toon is the only efficient way to get a big stock of in game funds. You can do the cargo transfer thing in limited amounts, but it's crazy slow and because of that it costs very much more in both time and cash to get it done that way.
In a Cutter or Type 9, it takes about 2.5 hours of very casual play to full up a full load of painite. My Cutter is set up for 512 cargo space, can get about 700 I think in a type 9, just takes longer to fill it. 512 painite sells for about 400 million credits per run. It's not perfect math but comes out to about 175 million credits per hour if you grind it out.
Yes. Enough to buy a base model Cutter every hour you are logged in. Or very near one. About 185 I think for a Cutter at Jameson.
So, a billion credits is about three runs. Pushing up to about 8 hours of solid game time. Please note, you only get these returns if you have a craft available to grind in. Anaconda or Type 9 both work well enough to be viable and don't require a rank grind to get into. They DO require the initial cash investment to get set up for power grinding cash.
So. If you are a new player and need help getting there, I can help with that, too. I'll try to summarize the process. Have to start off like everyone else else mooching kills at the rez sites with help from the cops. You can either do that for a short while and jump into a hauler and take it on the road to riches free cash tour for a couple hours, or just stay out there and grind up to about 3-4 million creds. Either way, you need some initial cash to set up a basic painite grinder. My last run I'm just finishing up I jumped into cheap type 6 with basic mining gear and 64 cargo. Fill that up and sell it twice and you have enough to buy and outfit a python for 192 cargo. One or two runs in that gets you plenty of cash to get either the anaconda or the type-9. Then you are free to print money in any amount you see fit. For reference, I had the 1 billion credits required to get elite trader and unlock Shinrarta Dezhra in about 12 hours from starting the new account.
I'd love to help you out with the grind. I can either get your account ramped up for you so the grind is easy and you can do it, or I can do the whole thing start to finish and you just decide how many billions you want. If you are starting with basically nothing, it takes a few hours on the account to get it going. Once you have the basics established, IE a python or above to start making real money, it's much more efficient.
By the looks of the ads on this site currently, a billion credits is worth between 100-150 USD, depending on how many you want. That sounds like decent money to me.
Please let me know if I can help any of you either get started or just make it rain credits. There's lot of them out there, just floatin' in them ugly rocks waiting to be collected.
Thank you.
