3.9 Billion in assets as read off the Codex screen. 5 ships owned. Cutter set up for mining to make unlimited credits, junk modules on it, but fine for staring at rocks for 2.5 hours at a time for cash flow. Corvette is engineered decently, but not fully. Been hunting in the hazres in Shinrarta Dezhra for the last couple days for fun, finally got it to the point of being fun. One class 2 multi-cannon on it for the corrosive hull damage boost, rest are various pule lasers with focus, efficient and I think one long range on it just to tag juicy stuff way out to like 5k range for free kills. Only important engineer not unlocked is Broo Tarquin for the class 5 lasers. The dweller dude does up to class 4's, so I never bothered unlocking the two annoying people you have to go through to get to Broo this time. I got Palin done for the grade 5 dirty drives, though. About 1/4 the jumps I've made on this toon were doing the silly 5k ly minimum distance thing to unlock Palin. I hate that one. Also have Anaconda and Python. Anaconda was my miner before I got the Cutter unlocked. I built up the Python to run missions out in Ceos/Sothis, but ended up doing cargo hauling with the Cutter this time for the entire Fed rank grind out there. It takes about the same amount of time as doing the courier runs for empire rank between Ngalinn and its sister system out there. Both suck. Both are done. Note to all viewers. It takes a good bit LESS time now to grind either Fed or Empire rank than it did a couple years ago. I feel like each grind was a good 6 hours faster now than it was in 2017. Still god awful terrible boring stuff, but less of it now than before, at least. Wow, Huge wall of text, lol.
Most valuable ship on the account? Easily the Diamondback Explorer I have set up for long trips. It's super cheap and quick to build and gets about 49 or so jump range without even guardian fsd boost on it. Still took me about 2.5 hours to do the Palin run. I hate that one.
Two years back this would have been a 1,000 USD account. I just checked the Codex screen. It says approximate time played 1 week and 5 days since I last reset this account and started from scratch. It took me about a month real time to get that many hours logged in the game, though.
As the build time gear and credits is much less than it used to be, the prices are gonna be a bit less now than they were.
Rank Grinds are still 150 usd each just about everywhere you can find them. Credits are about 100 usd per 1 billion creds. I think 550 USD is a decent starting place on this account.
