Thought he was in jail according to your site? Maybe it's down because of technical or billing issues so it won't be back up until he gets out of jail?

Yes. We are assuming EGS is down for not paying hosting fees.

This was bound to happen sooner or later.

I am laughing! If he was smart, he would have sold the site or sold the data and got the hell out when he could have.

Always thought the same thing, I would have jumped ship on that site a while ago.

The issue is that either there is a problem with the website that took it down or he didn't pay the billing or prepare in advance before he went to jail. I wasn't able to find an active case number in the NJ Court Calendar with a Justice Mccay so I'm going to assume that he was already sentenced to do time and the case is over with and he is now serving his time. Being that he has been in jail twice, I can only assume that the judge extended his stay for more than 20 days (I believe his last visit was during Christmas) and if he did the same crime twice, I can only imagine that he is going to be in jail for several weeks, possibly months this time.

The EGS CEO doesn't set up automatic payments because he rarely has enough funds to pay on the due date hence all the donation soliciting.

During my time there, he would always blow the cash on drugs and stuff, which is why the jail time was there. He's been in there much more than 2 times also. Not to mention the host was sticking it out a few times in hopes of payment.
In my personal opinion, EGS wasn't even close to a fail site. It was the most successful site in regards to the Final Fantasy community, and that's pretty much it. In other aspects it was pretty fail, but it did have decent traffic in other areas.
It was the owner who was fail.
