Both amazing PVP and PVE gear, you will have no problem with either of them, and will be able to do whichever you choose, or both! I've played this rogue since before the first expansion came out. In her bank, there is FULL 8/8 Nightslayer Tier 1, the best looking set, in the game in my opinion. This rogue has a ton of little gadgets like the Orb of Deception and Engineering Teleporters that make the game a lot more fun. Also has Rare Fiery War Horse Epic mount.
I made over 100,000g in my lifetime with Jewel Crafting, money will never be a problem for you. Just buy ore, prospect it, cut the gems and sell them! I NEVER purchased gold and was able to buy a 15,000g Mekgineer's Chopper!

Gear: 4/5 Hateful PvP gear and a VERY good 2h weapon.
This Death Knight is the perfect alt, he is very well geared. Full epics, and ready to rock PVP. You will be able into any guild with the rogue, so if you want the death knight to gear PVE geared, it shouldn't be a problem. A very fun and easy class to learn how to play.
71 Warlock
Normal Flying Mount!- Very well geared for her level, 4/5 Vengeful she has full PVP gear from level 70, which may be very helpful if you chose to do arenas at 80.
70 Priest
No Flying Mount- Well geared, a couple of epics to make leveling even easier.
When PVP gets dull at level 80, I have 2 level 29's with extreme gear to do Battle Grounds and Arenas with, pulling top of the charts every time.
I can throw in a level 60 Warrior for an extra 50 dollars.
