Double Login Authentication added

I'm happy to announce a new account security feature that will ensure members EpicNPC account's are protected. Double Login authentication has been added which works in conjunction with Google Authentication service.

If you use the same password on multiple sites, game accounts or else where and any of the these are hacked, you're putting your EpicNPC account at risk of being hacked as well. Protect yourself by adding authentication. It's free!


How it works
At the time you setup Double Login Authentication on your account that IP address will become whitelisted. Whenever the system detects someone logging into your account from another IP address they will be asked for an authentication 6 digit code from your smartphone. Once entered that IP address will also become white listed.

You will only be asked for the authentication code if your IP address changes, so you don't have to worry about being asked every time you login.


How to Setup Double Authentication

1. On your mobile phone, download the Google Authentication app (free)
2. On EpicNPC go to the Double Authentication page
3. Scan the code on this page using your Google Authentication app
4. Enter the given code
5. Done.

Your now fully protected from hackers and anyone else who might get your password.

You have to have either a smartphone or tablet because you need to use the Google Authenticator App. You don't need cell phone service, Wi-fi would work also.
