Dispute charge on paypal or go straight to credit card company?

Long story short, I was scammed by someone selling a warcraft account. Should I waste my time disputing the charge with paypal since they don't cover virtual goods, or should I go straight with my credit card company?

did you just send them the money via the "SEND MONEY" button on paypal? or did they send you a payment request which you accepted?

it you were the one to SEND MONEY to them using the button / the scammer did not state it as a virtual item / non tangible good in the money request, then you can open a paypal dispute first as "ITEM NOT RECEIVED". otherwise, you are stuck going to bank / credit card company to file a dispute.
