I do believe thats discord nitro which you can set your discord name and it can match other users, i do not think they fixed that.

This is the discord profile of Diatomic if you add him by copy-pasting the discord name from the forum. It's the exact same profile as the victim posted.

No it's not me, it's an imposter, I heard that discord allows to use not only latin letters, but other languages in nicknames.
I'm seeing this person for the first time My nickname on discord starts with capital letter "D" by the way

I don't believe you scammed anyone, but you should be careful when you state something. And you're right, if someone wanted to use you as a middleman (even if you were one) they should have first contacted you on EpicNPC forum to confirm your identity.

I understand that, but since you know that Diatomic#1234 and diatomic#1234 are two different usernames (on stupid discord only) - then you should change all your contacts immediately so that others don't get scammed as well.

He decided to contact you to be middleman and there was ready fake discord with your name.
For me it looks very fishy even i am not saying that you are involved.

No worries. That is more to blame on discord for allowing something like that to be a thing as names should not be dependant on case sensitive characters.

Discord developers never thought that someone would use their features to impersonate others. I like discord a lot, it's pretty nice and useful, but it just sucks that people use its features to do impersonation and scamming.
