Two weeks ago I received a reply in my email from this individual claiming that he wanted to purchase my rift account. Although I was suspicious since he didn't want any info such as screen shots or anything past what was posted on the forum post, I decided to sell him my account. There were no problems since the email for the log in had a message sent regarding a coin lock (because of use on a different ip address) which means he was able to log into the account in game, and also another email regarding a password change for the account. I regularly checked the email account just in case there were any problems that the buyer had. Twelve days later I check my email account and the purchaser ([email protected]) placed a hold on his payment and disputed it. Since paypal doesn't protect the seller when there isn't a physical item being shipped, I had no choice but to give him a refund. I did take back my account and everything was restored back to normal. I emailed the purchaser to no response. He/She still has not said anything to me so I am assuming this is the end to our buyer/seller relationship.
Just be weary when dealing with this individual, I would not sell anything to him/her.
Good luck everyone
