Epicnpc members can now transfer credits between each other. This is intended to create a new on-site currency system to help members make safe and secure purchases.

Currently EpicNPC is not offering a cash-out option where members can exchanged their credits for real money, however this has not been ruled out in future updates.

Members are allowed to sell their credits to other members for real money if they wish.

Changes to the credit payouts:
- Credits can no longer be earned. They can only be purchased or received from other members.

The reason credits can no longer be earned is because we don't want members spamming or abusing our site to try to get free credits.

How the credit system works:

Before you can transfer credits from your account, you must first setup a PIN number. This is a security feature to prevent credit theft. If your email and EpicNPC account are both hacked, the hacker will still need to know your PIN number before he can transfer any credits out of your account.

Once your PIN is set you're free to transfer (the link to create your PIN is at the top under the banner ad)

  • Click the 'Credits' link in the top navigation then click the 'Purchase link (also in your own profile)
  • Change 'Purchase' to 'Transfer
  • Change the username to the member you want to send credits to.
  • Enter you PIN and the amount of credits you want to send and click Submit

That's it!

There are many restrictions in place, such as daily credit limits. Please visit our Credit Info page for more info.

If you experience any problems or run into a bug, please post here.

This also applies to free credit on EpicNpc facebook page?

Nice news! btw we are still waiting Facebook code for this week :p

It appears the update caused an issue with redeem codes which we spotted yesterday and are working on fixing it. Once it's working again we'll post another code on FB.

Maybe instead of completely disabling the possibility to earn credits, it's better to make some limitations and requirements for earning credits?

For example, make it an advantage for upgraded members. Only epic member or higher can earn credits and a maximum of 10 per day. No way to abuse while adding another reason for members to buy an upgrade.

oh time to buy credits to the admin he has alot of credits xD.

But i disagree there is no way we can earn free credits anymore, If we login per day and get free credits is disabled also? We cant spam for that

I would prefer if we could cash out the credits, you can charge like a 5% fee, you even charge that on transfers so I don't think it would be that much of a problem. It would really benefit sellers and buyers here and I think it would also increase the amount of people who trade on here since there is a much lower chance of getting scammed.

The main purpose is to use credits as a trading currency. When you sell something for credits, you can then buy something from someone else and so on. Credits are a safer way to buy items because they can't be charge-backed or disputed like payments on Paypal or credit card.

If a dispute does come up we investigate as usual, then we can actually fix the problem if credits were used instead of just telling people to dispute the payment with Paypal.

In the future we might add a system to cash-out credits for real money, but at this time we do not plan to offer that.

You can sell your credits to other members if you like, currently there is no rule against doing that.

Where would one go to set their PIN? I found a place to change a current PIN but it says invalid PIN when I leave the current PIN blank.

Weird it should be under the forum section by the Ad.
I'll PM you the link in the mean time.
