Method of Contact Used: AIM
Instant Messenger ID of scammer: shadyjusalilbit5 + paintballplyr91. Seemed fishy, both pretending to be different people, I should have went with my gut.

What was scammed?: 28k Gold off of my main account.

Approximate value of scammed property: 28k x 3.5 = $98 give or take.

Describe how you were scammed: He sent payment, I let him log into account, he mailed the gold off and recalled the payment. I have ticketed a GM to get my gold and hopefully the destination account banned.

I need the proof he recalled Paypal payment please. Just provide me a SS of your paypal account saying so. If you want it private email it to my email. [email protected]
 
You cannot come up with proof that I reversed the payment because YOU CAN'T REVERSE A GIFT PAYMENT. And did all this within mins and doing it on every toon? You had like 16 toons this isnt gonna work sure you know how to make a fancy thread, yeah im new but your pic proves nothing because you didn't even post the whole conversation. I have pictures of the WHOLE conversation sent to the gm. What your trying to say I did is crazy, I asked you for skype to talk to us both at the same same you said no, i asked to call you said no, we have proof we have 2 accounts sending money bud, I don't have 2 aim's but lets see where this goes.

Cody, you said you received your $25 back, how did you receive it back? Please post a screenshot of the resolution page from Paypal.

NormanBum, please post a screenshot of the payments being reversed.
 
Okay now there is $130 still missing. He decides to refund the small amount and try to keep the bigger amount because he is benefitting from the $130 more than $25. He will not be able to post any hard proof of reversing the payment because paypal does not allow you to reverse it if you sent as a gift unless it was REFUNDED by the person who recieved payment. That is what he did here in the picture, not the whole amount though. If he does the screenshot will be edited, or tampered with to make it look like you can reverse a gift payment. You can ask paypal themselves. I guarantee it.

hey mike, so say he just gets banned and no money gets refunded. Anyway you can give credit to find a new account for the money lost?. since he is verified, and has all the trust verified stuff so he isnt at a total lost ?
 
he dosen't have any proof out of all the people, i would find a trusted one to get jipped from its amazing. Anyway paypal will make exceptions if you have legit proof of a scammer, or money as a gift is money as a gift. Then he makes this thread saying i'm a scammer, this guy is a joke

I'm not so sure about that as i'm not one of the paypal guys. Post that question in safe buying .selling. and trading and you'll get a more accurate response.
 
Hyk, I e-mailed you last night before heading to bed. And cody, the 130 was not sent as a gift, the 25 was. I returned your 25 out of good faith but I could have kept it if I wanted to.

Why would I jeopardize almost four years worth of legit account selling and a +14 feedback over $150? This is ridiculous.
 
Actually the $130 was sent as a gift and that has already been proven with a screenshot, nice try. I know you want to keep the money. You still have not posted proof of me reversing the payment, because paypal does not allow you to do that. Stop trying
 
cody i need to see your friends paypal screens of the money being sent and any open disputes or his disputes section showing empty.
 
Ok I figured it out, wow. PayPal put a hold on my money because my bank is currently changing credit cards (Wells Fargo bought Wachovia). The gold had been missing for three days because my brother switched it to his account because it has an authenticator on it (more secure).

The bank finished transferring my credit card so I was able to get my $130 sent to my bank. I sent cody his money, I am so sorry about this guys.
 
thanks norman. I'm not going to ban you because there's not 100% proof something happened with you trying to scam but please know I will be keeping a close eye on you.
