This happened to me from the same person earlier this afternoon. And having utilized this site's amazing search function, it seems he's tried the same thing with other people several times.

The conversation always starts out exactly the same from what I can gather.

codoneckro (7:51:03 PM): hi
codoneckro (7:51:40 PM): you there ?
Bennyreno1985 (7:52:04 PM): ya can I help you?
codoneckro (7:52:19 PM): you want to sell your account ?

Just gotta be a little more careful. Having looked into it now...it seems there's a bit of a long drawn out process to retrieving your account, but as long as you can prove your identity Blizzard will work with you to restore your stolen "virtual property".

Codoneckro =/= Codoneckero - Be careful of the impersonators, always have them post in any thread you have and don't take excuses.

He's right.

*Sigh* So many threads on guys impersonating Codoneckero.

Make sure you get him to post in your thread with the same account, if you fall for that 'I lost my account details' crap then you deserve to be scammed.
