CUSTOMER REVIEWS/QUESTIONS
No offense taken. We know we can transfer quicker then 3m per hour. That was referring to casual new player looking for credit. On the other hand drone,which in my opinion are presently still a total fail, never worked for us. We tried em in the beta phase a few time and back in in 1.3.03 and for us they would simply blow themselves up. Best we got them to do was the following(it worked the best in beta for us): Dropped 200 cargo, dropped 4 drones (7a limpet) picked up 30 cargo in 4 minutes. All exploded the drone, dropped another 4 and they picked up about 16 before killing themselves. Overall 8 drones and 9-10 minutes got us back 46 cargo.

Since people still report them as exploding even when you don't target a canister, we haven't tried them back. We some some people say they work, but some report the opposite. Too random for us.

If you really are able to transfer 200m in 3 hours I'm impressed and tell you Way to go! There sure is some people who don't want to give access to account and wish you good luck :)

Even for free, you won't find anyone willing to spend the time it takes to scoop 15 millions. Now asking them to pay for it.... good luck with that.
Since customer are usually starting in game, they won't be able to scoop more then 2mil/hour. Those able to scoop 3m/hr are already far enough in-game to farm the same amount per hour either in hi-res or by trading and simply want to skip the useless farming. Then you must add instance-matching trouble and the new cargo drop limit bug that came with 1.3

As an exemple, we did an Imperial slave party (free drop of 50mil worth slave) advertised over Frontier forum and reddit and had trouble getting people in open to scoop the 20m we dropped. We didn't drop it all as after 5 hours there was still many millions left floating. Had to leave game, restart and spawn in 3 different instance, fill them up and yet people were bored to hell and gone before they took it all. The most that was scooped by one person was about 3m and he spent 1h and a half doing it before giving up.

bad counter marketing is bad

Hi Laethageal!

Thanks for your post. I have to raise some concerns about Laethageal's post and the numbers he supplies.

Several tests have been made on my side and they show the following:
- scooping 20 tons with an ASP takes about 1 Minute
- this adds to 100 tons every 5 minutes which is worth 1.6 Million Credits (considering the commodity is imp. slaves)

Its possible to scoop 200 Million CR within 2-3 hours using an ASP or T6 - this is taking drop off and sell times into account! I think your not aware of the introduction of cargo drones which is very hard to believe since you are a veteran here and surely know your way around Elite Dangerous.

Laethageal - this is just bad counter marketing attempt.

Now let me address your concerns / counter marketing about this method:

2mil/hour or 3mil/hour
- you just post some numbers without providing the math or any explanation to back them up.
- even with only one class 3 collection controller your able to scoop over 800.000 Cr every 5 minutes. And these controllers can be stacked.
- your able to collect 20 tons of cargo every minute or even faster with bigger ships! (with stacked modules)!
- Sure if your in a stock sidewinder this method will not be profitable and would take too much time.
Instance - Matching
- private group! Sure there are P2P issues within ED but you also have them wile playing the game normally.
- since we are only talking about 1 to 1 transactions in private group this is not an issue at all.
- raising the concern about Instancing problems for a method which is very safe due to no account login information is needed... adds again to the suspicion of counter marketing.
Drop Limit
- There is a 20 Ton drop limit per instance, this was introduced so instances cant be spammed with bio waste.
- This is not a problem when the cargo gets scoop right away.
Free cargo drop example
- This is the furthest fetched example with no relation to my method.
- I personally did several free palladium drops in LHS 3447 and yes .... no one cared because there haven't been collector drones in the past. Its clearly visible that in your screenshots no collector drones are used.

I hope i catched all of the raised concerns and was able to assure my future customers about this delivery method - in the end the customer decides which method he prefers - the customer just can put a minimal amount of time in to scoop and get credits for cheap or he chooses to give someone his ED account login information and pay more - its up to the customer that is the beauty of it!

I tried to write it as neutral as possible since i don't want to have a "shitstorm" over here but i also wanted to make my point clear.
