I loved getting a chatbox timeout for asking if the name peternorth was allowed (since im well aware that its a porn star name and can be offensive to some) since we were on the subject of rafflez signature being inappropriate i chimed in asking if the guys name was (since someone on the forum has the name).
I will admit i said something before hand but were not aimed at anyone one person directly but were reflecting on the continuious changing in rules around this place. I received a push out of the chatbox for this and a msg on aim saying that he was tired of my attitude (RoflChops). Petty imo but whatever... Every mod child is entitled to there fair share of temper tantrums.

We're "qq'ing" because nothing any of you staff members say coincides with each other. Prior to today myself and various others have had no complaints when posting 1, 2 or even 3 unique ads, regardless of their length. Now all of a sudden we're being warned because we aren't following the rules.
That's all fine and dandy, just make it known when there are changes in the rules. Yes, Roflchops linked me a thread with the updated chat box rules, but that was posted February 13th. Up until March 4th we were allowed to do one thing and now you're going to enforce some rule that previously almost NO ONE knew about?
Then I ask a Super Mod to clarify a few things about unique ads and website advertisements. I got an entirely different answer than I would have gotten from any sort of normal Moderator.
tl;dr (i'm rambling and high, so bear with me.): none of you seem to agree with each other and then hand out warnings/infractions/timeouts/whatever when someone follows the word of another mod.

I've pretty much started distancing myself from these forums over the past few weeks after using them extensively for around 5-6 months.
The reason being is I disagree with the direction and lack of respect for community members that the staff including the site owner exhibits from time to time.
My point being, when a business makes bad decisions that upsets their customers, the customers usually don't use the company anymore thus hurting the business. No one ever listens to our complaints or does anything about them, so maybe do like me and forgot EpicNPC for awhile. I only check in when I get PM's but just had to reply to these mod posts today. xD
If there is one thing you can count on EpicNPC having, its a bad staff and administration.

i left for three months hoping for change but in all honestly it seems worse now

That was when we switched over from the old chat box to the new one. The "official forum rules" were updated and a post was made to help further announce the changes. I cannot force people to read, so when a mod sees someone breaking the rules, they will tell that person individually or issue an infraction.
When the rules were first changed, I told the mods to go easy with infractions so members have time to see the changes. It's been a month now so they are enforcing them a little more.
You are allowed 1 unique ad in the chat box while it's in view. Once it gets pushed out of view, you can post another one.

If you believe a mod is abusing their powers in chat, simply take a screenshot of it and send it to me. There's a lot of complaining lately, but I have yet to receive 1 screenshot of these complaints over the last 2-3 weeks. If you don't report it, then I can't do anything.
Kamehameha, you have again posted an insulting edited image of a mod after being told not to post it. Please tell me what YOU think your punishment should be. A mod AND admin already told you not to do something which insulted a moderator on the staff, yet you did it again anyway.
Should we just let that go? A warning? An infraction?
You complain about the infractions you get, but then continue doing the very same things you were told not to do. Do you think you're just going to complain your way out of an infraction?
If you want to be shown respect, you must first give it. Don't go around insulting mods then complain when they infract you.

Whoa whoa whoa now Mikey, no need to get so upset.
The image was created AFTER the direct insults and abuse of power sakura did a while back. You know this. I didn't make the image beforehand and post it, I made it after his little psychotic episode he had with me, roflchops and a few other members. I just find the image funny as hell and like to share it. xD I knew I would be getting an infraction, and no where was I complaining. I said I left the site for a while because of everything and suggested the others follow suit if they have complaints.
Also, want to note how funny it is I received the infraction on the comment I made about bad staff and administration... kind of confirms what I said. Rants and raves forum, but if someone calls the staff or admin bad at their job, they have none of that.

You were given a 0 point infraction (warning) by Twizz yesterday and today 3 points from me, even though the pic was already removed. You did not get an infractions for any criticism about mods abusing power. We both used that post because that's the post where the picture was.
As always criticism will not get you any infractions. Members are free to speak out or make complaints as long as it's not in an insulting manner. Posting an edited image making fun of a mod when you were already told not to do it is why you got infracted and is the only reason.
