I did give him the account and then he charged back the money, after seeing that he charged back the money I went through the process of recovering the account.

The sale of the account happened back in January and it wasn't till around May that he started the charge back with PayPal.

Sorry doom for butting in. I was doing middleman for Redpeanut when I noticed he had a negative feedback of scam against him. So I told him I will not MM until that feedback is cleared. I guess he didn't even know or checked he had this. I told him if he can prove himself then mods will help remove the feedback which will help him sell or buy accounts bit easier.

Nov 14 - Redpeanut replies saying he recalled the account because of a chargeback

What is the kickstarter code?
Is the code separate from the account?

Im assuming since Jan 25th you have not communicated with the buyer, correct?

The kickstarter code was already applied onto the account when I sold it. It gave the account the Kickstarter rewards which also let it join the alpha and beta, without the code on the account it wouldn't of been able to even play.

I kept him on my Skype for maybe a little over a week so he could get in contact with me if he had any problems, after which I removed him because everything had gone smooth.

I can confirm the above statement. Jamaal09's statement appears to be false and will be removed in 48 hrs if there's no reply.

Perhaps he meant the account was recalled from him, but he will have to show proof of that.

My statements are not false, I purchased the account from Peanut in January and everything went well until the kickstarter codes were emailed in mid April (see this link:https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cze/hex-mmo-trading-card-game/posts/821021). This already shows one count of Peanut's lie as while the account info he gave me was able to play in Alpha, it did not have the kickstarter code already applied to it. If you read this article you will see that Hex Ent emailed the code to the original email account at the end of the kickstarter campaign, and not any changed accounts. They even bolded this fact. As Peanut had changed his kickstarter email address when he sold the account to me, the kickstarter code that Hex Ent emailed went to his original account and not the one he gave me. He also still does have my skype info and refused to reply. Rmysidia, our middle-person can attest to this as he ignored her attempts to respond after Peanut refused to reply to my requests for the kickstarter code. I am more than happy to provide any other details.

As you can see in these links, the ingame email was different than the gmail address I was given, showing that this was not the original kickstarter email address - http://imgur.com/Iix9UIi http://imgur.com/9EatfjC the game stopped changing ingame emails due to all of the scamming going on. What he changed was the kickstarter account email, which once again, was not the email that Hex sent the Kickstarter codes to because it was not the email at the end of the Kickstarter campaign.

I did not know this was how it worked and even if I did know it worked like this I never received any email from Hex as the email linked to the account was already changed away from my personal email (bthomehub) so every email related to the kickstarter would of gone to the email I provided to you. Only the login email was my personal one because at the time the login info could not be changed as it was generated by Hex.

The kickstarter account given was the original kickstarter account used for the backing just with the email changed away from my personal one. The Gmail info given to you was the one that had been linked to the Hex account upon you buying it.

Every email related to the hex account and kickstarter was going to the Gmail account that I set up for the sale of the account. The last email I received to my personal account (bthomehub) was "Project Update #62" sent to me on 27/12/13 after that everything was being sent to the Gmail account because all the emails for kickstarter and hex (other than the login as this could not be changed at the time) had been changed to the ones I gave you.

One of you received the code. If it was sent in April, most likely it went to one of your spam folders since neither of you saw it, and was eventually deleted.

Jamaal09 have you tried contacting Kickstarter or HEX support to retrieve the code. Most likely it was never used so hopefully they can just give it to you. Please try contacting one or both sites and let us know if you're able to recover the code.

He no longer has the accounts as I recovered them back (took me about 4 months to do this) when he charged back the money.

I'm sure if we tried getting someone from Hex Ent involved you'd see that he took back control of his account soon after the April 25th kickstarter post as this was the time when I lost control of the account due to the password being changed.

I am sure Peanut is not being honest, he also said that he could not get in contact with me with Skype, this isn't true and as I said our middleperson could attest that we both tried to contact him and received no reply.

As I pointed out before, the email with the kickstarter code was sent by Hex Ent, and not Kickstarter. As the April 25th post states, the code was sent to the email that originally pledged, which even Peanut admits was the bthomehub account and not the hexcollector gmail that he created for the transaction. The email was sent to him and the only way they would resend the code is if he sent an email to Hex Ent from his bthomehub address to resend his code. I'm sure they would agree. If he could send them an email and CC all of us, asking if the code has been used, I'd bet that they would say the code has been used on the bthomehub account.

I did not receive the code to my knowledge before you charged back the payment. After I recovered the account I was given an email with the kickstarter code in it which has since been used on the account hence why I'm able to try and sell an account with kickstarter benefits.

In regards to the Skype messaging my account is set to only be able to get IM's from people on my contact list, just like my email only sorts things into my Inbox from contacts/companies I know and trust. Privacy is important to me and if you did indeed mean to get in touch with me to try and sort this problem out earlier this year I'm sorry but these methods would not of worked. I'd like to add at no point did you try and contact me through Epic NPC the place in which our transaction happened you went straight into a charge-back claim and then negative re, the fact that you negative repped me means that you did indeed use the site but like I said, you did not try and get in touch with me.

To me this all seems like a misunderstanding and miscommunication on your part but it has since left me with an account for a game I do not care for an a paypal account that is rougly £270 in debt.

I never seen the email from Jamaal that's why I didn't know there was a problem (email was probably filtered to my spam folder). Like I said if he had gotten in contact with me through EpicNPC I would of been able to deal with the problem.

The PaPal account that the chargeback happened on is currently locked, I'll get in touch with PayPal in the morning (around 9-10 hours).

Your story isn't adding up Peanut, at first you said the account always had the kickstarter code attached to it, then you admitted to applying it later. My email went to your spam? We had been in contact before, that seems unlikely, as does your claim about not getting my skype messages. Also if I did this chargeback in April/May, doesn't it seem strange that you never tried to contact me through any of these routes? Why would I need to conaact you on this site, the site we had the least contact through, I knew once you took back your account that I had been scammed. Chargeback below.

My Skype is private, that means I don't get messages from people not on my contacts, just like I don't have you added on my email contact so the email would of been filtered to spam. Like I said previously I did not know that's how the kickstarter code worked.

Also how would I of gotten in touch with you? I didn't keep your email or Skype info because everything went smoothly so if any problems came up I don't see why you wouldn't message me through the place that you bought the account, to me that seems like the logical situation. Like I mentioned the process of me recovering the account took me months to do and I still haven't even gotten the kickstarter account back because you keep switching the email back to your own (Kickstarter are investigating this by the way)

2) History page showing when the Kickstarter code was applied to the account. (i'm not sure if a history page exists, can either of you confirm this?)

The accounts support email has been changed due to the fact that I was ready to sell it to the new buyer which removes ticket history (can provide a screenshot if needed) as for a History page showing when the code was applied I don't think Hex has that kind of thing.

I just registered a HEX support account. It's separate from the main game account. Changing the email and removing it does removed support tickets, which seems like a major bug.

I have a ticket currently open with HEX support asking them to restore my first ticket. If they do, Redpeanut you will also be required to have your old support tickets restored to show me.

Got a reply and the ticket is still there, I just can't see it, only support can see it. I asked them if it's possible if they can add it back to my account to make it viewable to me. I'll have to wait for an answer on that, however I don't see why they wouldn't be able to or at the very least copy and paste the text into a new ticket if they can't restore them.

Redpeanut please open a ticket and has them to restore all your previous tickets. Just say something like "I want to keep an accurate record of my support tickets and I'm missing a bunch because I changed the email"

Earliest ticket dated 2014-05-27:

This was the first ticket I opened after the charge back trying to find a way to get the account back.

Next ticket after that:

This was a ticket opened very quickly due to me losing control of the account once again after gaining access to it for a short time.

Last ticket:

This was a ticket I opened due to the account being banned after I had gained control of the account (they caught on that the account was probably sold at some point) but I successfully got it unbanned again and this is when I had full control over the account and have done ever since.

The ticket not shown (27-05-27) was a ticket I made by mistake with the exact same text as the first ticket but without any replies.

Redpeanut you stated you took the account back because he chargedback the payment. Proof was shown the chargeback was on May 22nd. You opened two tickest on April 27th, almost a full month before the chargeback to recall the account. Please explain.

The proof Redpeanut posted himself shows he recalled the HEX account 25 day BEFORE Jamaal09 disputed the Paypal payment, which means he stole the account.
