I have the same "issue", the workaround I found is to always go advanced when editing so that you always get the human verification, you'd have to do the verification twice before you can finish editing but it always work.

That was suggest to me by EpicNPC CM

in the past, and does the trick.

@epicnpc cm : i use the most used browser on this planet 'google chrome'. Maybe (just a idee here) you should work to find what is creating this error and try to fix it. It worked all well for the past months and i was using the same browser back then. So what did you guys do that could alter the way the checks are working?

I logged into your account and did a quick edit. I did not receive that error when I saved. Do you still get that the error when you try to edit it?

yep stil getting it in google chrome, mozilla firefox, internet explorer, did not have any other browsers but it is happening in all 3.

Happens to me too every now and then. I just click that I want to stay on the page, copy my text, close the tab, open a new tab and go back to the page then paste it back in. That usually fix it.
It isn't such a big deal to me, but it can be annoying.

Used to happen when I used MPGH as well. I'm using Google Chrome if it's interesting.

Okay, I was finally able to replicate the issue.

It's a combination of problems with the quick edit feature, too many links in the post (including images) and Cloudflare all combining to trigger a security block by Cloudflare which causes the wrong error message to display when you try to save your edit.

The security feature will not be disable, so what we need to do is configure the settings so that members are not allow to included too many links and image. I'll be working on this tomorrow and hopefully by the end of the day this edit issue won't be a problem anymore.

For the time being limit the amount of URLs you include in a post. I don't know what the magic number is that triggers this event, but your post had a lot.

EpicNPC - You know best, I'm no expert in this, however, I do recall for sure that I've had this issue on replies and topics without any links or images. If my opinion matters, I'd suggest trying to get feedback from more than 2 of the people that have this issue, just so others won't have to suffer such changes without knowing for sure who is affected by what change and for what reason. Is just my honest opinion.

I've personally tried to figure out what's this about for a while now, and in my opinion it got something to do with the cache, I've used a less known browser called "Browzer Black" and I never had this issue, regardless of the topics, number of images or number of links. I believe the issue could be due to the fact that we do no receive the "Verify you're a human" capcha on normal/quick edits, because every time I go advanced and do the human check, there's no issue and it works great. So the issue, in my opinion is related to either the cache or the human verification system, or maybe both combined.

I've made a change and this error should no longer happen. You should also not receive the human check. The edit should work as normal. Let me know if it doesn't.

Works like a charm in google chrome, can edit anything smoothly, without any issue.
