Can .Bnet accounts be scammed?

So I got a guy who has an account that is bnetted, im trading him a char that ill be bnetting... how does this all work? I mean how do you secure the account so I can't be reclaimed. On the flip side how can he do the same... Is there a way to lose a Bnet account or is it always reclaimable ?

Any useful info on this topic would be much loved... I'm far too new to all of this to be on the verge of trading away my pride n joy to a scammer.

battle.net accounts CANNOT be "scammed" from you unless you give them the secret question answer. if you give them the username and password, all they would be able to do is change the password. which all you would have to do is go to battle.net, then click forgot password, and put your info in with your secret answer, then you get your account back. BUT if you give them your secret answer too, they will be able to change the email, password, basically ALL of your info. and FYI... like 95% of the people on this website are scammers, don't be duped, if ya want to know what to look out for, AIM me at saturntuner420

..there is a "catch" to all of this though..Yes, you can reclaim your bnet account with ALL of the original infos..BUT..Blizz does request identification in order to unlink it..SO..unless your the original owner..you wont be able to get the bought account reclaimed...hope this helps

Incorrect. You do NOT need ID to unlink your account from a battle.net account. This is just false information.

You only need to send in an email to AA using the account retrivial form. Use the ORIGINAL email and the ORIGINAL first and last name.

You may have experienced somethng entirely diffrent, but just know, blizz can and will ask for id if you try to unlink the account.

..this is just my experience
