Buying an account in person cash, need advice

So i want to buy an account off a person who lives 40 minutes from me.

We both agreed that i will xfer toons to a fresh account for safety, but how safe is that gonna be?

He is original owner and will give me a copy of his id.

How safe will i be once he walks away with my cash, what can i do in order to not have the acc recalled?

Honestly, there no real way you can be 100% safe, the OO has ALWAYS the bigger end of the stick. If he his willing to provide I.D that usually a good sign of faith. For a buyer nothing beat a credit card payment as far as security goes.

Honestly, trust your judgment, get a feel of the guy. I've had some RL transaction go really well, and some other were I got blatantly scammed.

There not much issue to do if you get frauded by paying cash, if the OO recall the account, you will have to suck it up =/

The ID shows he is legit, but sometimes it is a false sense of hope. I traded with a guy, he sent me a copy of his ID, but then it turned out it wasnt his account so i really couldn't do anything.

Follow him to his house, (if your not meeting at his house) If he scams you, kick in his door....

(Do not really do this and tell the cops "Well, xbadcarma from markeedragon.com told me to.")

Honestly if it was me and I was buying from someone that close I would do that, and if they recall w/o giving me my money back I'd do exactly what I said... *shrug*
