Epicnpc now accepts Bitcoin

Bitcoin can now be used to purchase all accounts upgrades, global threads, sticky threads and later today we'll be adding support for Epicnpc Credits. More on that later today.

We'll have a guide created soon explaining how to use Bitcoin and how to create an account for those of you who don't have one and want to try it out.

When making a purchase you'll now see two payment options, Paypal and Bitcoin. Simply select the one you want.

Bitcoin can't be used in our Gold Store yet, however support for it will be added in the upcoming weeks.

Now users can get the verified status with bitcoins ?

i don't see why the name on the id must be the same as on the paypal account then

Good point. At this time there's no way to disable a payment option for a single item, so I can't disable it for 'Verification' only. If it becomes an issue, we'll update the system so we can disable Bitcoin for Verifications.

It's a shame the bitcoin name is tarnished because of 1 man. Those who follow bitcoin know what I'm talking about. That said, bitcoin is a good addition.

When you are making a purchase at the final step it will ask you to select payment method. You'll see two options, Paypal and Bitcoin, just select Bitcoin.
