Beware! www.AccountOL.com Selling Hacked / Keylogged Accounts

Hey Mike,

Here is the proof

This is my account and it got hacked on Apr-25
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Dath'Remar&cn=Furfur

Now, they are selling this account at here
http://armorys.accountol.com/2017922.htm

As they are not buying any WoW accounts at the moment, it is positive that they try to hack the account from the victims and sell it to another customer. If the account is reclaimed, they will try to get a replacement for you as they cannot send any driver license to Blizzard and recover the hacked account. You can go to the live chat and ask if they have any identities documentation from the accounts they are listing.

Do not buy from www.AcccountOL.com as they are running illegal business. Ask for the refund if you did purchased from them, file a dispute if they are refuse to do so. All the accounts could be bannd or reclaimed, just depends on the time.

Thanks for warning the community.

I think what he is trying to say is that Buy WoW Account|Buy World of Warcraft Account|Cheap WoW Account|Welcome to AccountOL.com! is a risky business, but I doubt they are selling keylogged/hacked accounts. No company out there would sell these type of accounts, and all evidence I have seen points to that these type of accounts are only used with gold farmers who want to make gold and quickly sell it to companies like THSALE.

However, when buying from China, what do you really expect? Quality service? Not going to happen. The accounts you buy from this company will always be a risk because they are buying them insecurely, or they are farmed and leveled to be sold in China.

Most companies do not sell black accounts knowingly. But let's be careful with the 'all inclusive' statements. There are some which do. If I make a list publicly, that affects my relations in China though so I'll just leave it at that.

The general situation is that people come to companies and say, "I'm the original owner, here you go!"
And so the company buys it without question. Then they sell it. A month or two later, the account gets recalled.

To prevent this, many companies now check ID against the account's registration information. (smart move).

So if you want safety, deal with companies that always ask for ID.

And if you want to be REALLY sneaky. Tell the company that you have a black account that you want to sell to them for DIRT cheap, and see how they handle that proposition. If they tell you to get lost, then that's a good company. If they say they want to buy it, then you know they knowingly deal in black accounts. - Or, do the same test, and say you're the OO, but you have no ID, see how they handle that.

That's the fastest way to do a quick risk assessment.

Accountol.com is a horrible site. Over the last few years we have recovered quite a few accounts for customers that had been hacked/keylogged w/e you want to call it. I have logged onto a couple of these accounts after recovering and received whispers in game, HEY YOU STOLE MY ACCOUNT, etc etc. I've taken the time to talk to some of these people outside the game, and learned that in fact they had purchased this stolen account from accountol.com among others.

Just my 2c.

I'm not sure they are intentionally are doing it, they just don't know what they are doing. Someone comes to their websites and wants to sell an account cheap which is stolen. Accountol buys it, and then sell it to customers. AccountOL lacks first world communication to be able to protect themselves from what they are selling. Most chinese companies do. That is the problem with buying from China.

You can safely say that AccountOL doesn't care one bit about customers. All they want is the $ and then you are screwed because they offer no guarantee. Considering their accounts aren't even cheap, I don't even know why people would consider buying from this company.

Just wanted to add something here.

Friend of mine bought from this site recently because nobody else had a cheap enough account he was looking for (told him not to buy here and he didn't listen).

After a couple days the password was reset and since they don't give you the secret answer, you have to ask them to do it. After about 21 days of trying to get it reset, they keep running around in circles telling him they will reset it but never do. Supposedly he has tried multiple times and keeps getting the same answer.

Obviously now he has no choice but to file a dispute since they don't seem to understand that they need to reset the password. The ironic thing is that it appears this company keeps switching PayPal Accounts and I think they are doing this to avoid being banned by PayPal as they probably have close to a 25 to 50% dispute ratio.

Bottom line, the companies lack of communication is by far the worst of probably any company out there and because it's so bad, they have to be the most risky company out there.

I wish I had read this 5 hours ago. I purchased a character from these people and 4 hours later I'm still waiting for the account details. Every time I got to live chat to ask where my details are, the girl/bot asks me for my name as usual, then when I ask where my details are, I don't get any answer, not matter how many times I try, they just ignore me. I spent £290 on a supposedly top class character and have nothing to show for it.

Well in my opinion, these people are nothing but Internet thieves. I paid them £290 yesterday at 4pm for a WoW account, it's now 8:30am and I still haven't recieved any details of the account. Any attempt to ask them about it just results in complete silence until the chat automatically stops after 15 minutes. Is there any way I can get my money back from these robbers?

As long as you didn't pay with direct PayPal funds but paid by MoneyBookers, Bank Transfer, or Debit/Credit Card, you can file a dispute with them and win. PayPal is the only one who directly can't help you but your bank and MoneyBookers will.

I noticed that they switch PayPal Accounts often so they must be getting a high dispute ratio and PayPal is warning them that the will ban them if they don't lower the dispute ratio. Instead of fixing the issue, I think they just switch paypal accounts. This is an opinion based on what I have seen.

Here is a conversation my friend had with them recently.

They of course ended the chat on him when he was asking for their address. He tried to e-mail the owner of the company who never replied back.

Well, I am really pissed off with this company, they told me this morning at 11am that the accounts manager would be here in 10 hours, so I waited till almost midnight, which was nearly 12 hours, I still haven't recieved any account details, and when I asked about them in Live chat tonight, is was completely ignored, as this copy below will show:-

Hi there, welcome to our live help, my name is Sarah ,may i know your name?

You 01-28 23:49:32
Hello, my name is Melvyn Thurlby, we spoke 10 hours ago about my account details

You 01-28 23:52:57
do you have my account details for me now?

You 01-29 00:00:03
why do you ignore me when I ask about my account details?

You 01-29 00:03:40
ok, I want to cancel my order and I want a ful refund of my £290 within 24 hours, if this doesn't happen, I will file a dispute with moneybookers.com

Then the chat timed out, these people are nothing but thieves!

Should I wait to see if I get a refund (doubt it), or should I file a dispute right away?

As far as I know, you can't actually dispute anything with moneybookers, you can report it to them, but far as I know they just tell you to contact your bank or something. I really dont like MoneyBookers having just lost £65 to them. Ill let you know if I find anything out.

This is only the 3rd time i've tried to use MB, 3/3 so far have been scams. I dont know what other peoples experiences are, I am going to dig around when I get back home as im not going to log on MB from work again, I will update you here or via PM if I can find some useful information for you.

Email [email protected], provide them the transaction number, and tell them this company has failed to delivery and you would like to open up a non delivery dispute.

---------- Post added 01-29-2011 at 09:58 PM ----------

MoneyBookers is better than PayPal is for virtual transactions. If you push hard, they will refund you unless the business can provide significant proof which they can barely speak english (referencing: accountol).

If you paid by direct MoneyBookers funds though, you could run into problems because like PayPal, they can't guarantee anything.

Thanks for that. I have emailed moneybookers and am waiting with fingers crossed that I get my money back. I can ill afford to lose £290!

I can't say I'm very impressed with my dealings with you. I ordered an account, paid via Paypal, which is an option on your site, then after 24 hours, you refund my Paypal payment, with no good reason why, and tell me I have to use Western Union!

I tried registering with them but for some reason they kept giving me a message that said something like there is an error highlighted in red, please amend, or words to that effect. There were NO errors highlighted in red, so I told your Operator, who said the only other option is to go to a WU near me. Well here in the UK, there aren't that many, and a search revealed my nearest one was over 100 miles away, so thats not an option.

I really am getting pissed off with trying to buy a decent WoW account, my first attempt with www.accountol.net resulted in me paying £290 and still not getting any account details, and I still haven't been refunded, and now this one!

Is there really a company out there who can sell me a WoW account without any hassle?

He likely did it for security purposes. Any good standing company will tell you to do this.

You are looking at it the wrong way though in that you lost nothing in the transaction if you were refunded.

Well, Moneybookers have done brilliantly for me. They kept me well informed by rtegular emails, and today I recieved a mail telling me that the whole £250 has been refunded. A big thumbs up to Moneybookers!

---------- Post added 02-10-2011 at 01:01 PM ----------

As 'Edit' isn't working, I'll correct my post here, the full sum refunded was £290, not £250.

Glad you were able to get your money back.

Just another story for the books that people need to realize not to buy from China unless they are clearly reputable (there are a few). Also about every major MMO company has bad reviews but you have to really investigate to see if the company solved it because if they did then you at least know that they care enough to help you rather than just take your money.
