Authentication Problem

I want to apply for account authentication. (Membership)

I have a Paypal account. (heavy usage, primarily E bay)

Problem: My Mobile number is invalid.

I have a scanned copy of 2 IDs as other sites require them if this could be a substitute. (passport-current/not expired and TIN- government issued)

Am willing to pay the fees.
Have alternative means of contact such as a land line and social media ( Face Book etc).

Authentication is free, but you have to have a working smartphone. I'm not sure if Google Authentication requires you to have an active mobile plan, wi-fi might work, so try that. If it doesn't work then you have to have an active mobile plan, meaning a valid mobile phone number.

ID is only required for Verification, authentication has nothing to do with that and is only an account security feature. If you don't have a mobile phone, sending me your ID will not protect your account.

In my country we kinda dont have mobile plans that can be used as verification as sim cards are a dime a dozen here.
So that is perhaps why any mobile number Ive used from the 3 major networks in my country, Sun, Smart and Globe, do not work.

I might need an alternative for this process

Would appreciate it.

On the mobile I tried using the 10 digit code = 0927****** and the 11 digit area format = 63927*******, no go
tried on a alternate mobile I have, different network, no go

I am using a retailer sim, it doesn't get more planned than that here.

Ima borrow a smart phone and place my sim in it when I get to work... It just might work @_@

Yes, you need a valid working mobile phone number to upgrade to 'Epic Member' status. There are no exceptions for that.
