Recently I've been getting PMs stating that they tried to contact me about the account, I have previously stated that the skype information posted is incorrect, I have not had control of that skype account since december 2011.

Your skype was originally posted in March(2012) and in May you were still using it.

I however doesn't see any posts from you on the forums and with the Skype accounts being hacked into recently I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. You are however still responsible for what happens with your account, so you must resolve this issue with hmshunter once he posts proof.

hmshunter, please provide screenshots of the chat.

Back in January I posted a report saying I lost all control to my account(skype), but I believe I got no response as I stopped trying to check for them on my email in March.

When I do trades here, I always have the buyer post in my thread, and vise versa, to authorize the trade occurring between an actual member here; I also only handle trades with people who can provide a form of an ID scan.

In any case, I no longer deal towards runescape related matter as I have quit the game, I depleted my gold stock, and jumped ship so to speak. Nevertheless, this was not me behind the account, but I wish you the best of luck. If there is something else I can do, let me know.

(In addition to the above text, before submitting, I tried to scroll through all my posts to show evidence of ID scan history etc, [only way I trade], but after the 17th page, I gave up, because I have to be somewhere in 25 minutes.) Like I said though, I only do trades with people willing to post on a thread, authorizing their forum account is taking place in this trade, and I open every offer with request of proof of ID/ license; I suggest you do the same. I apologize for your troubles, this is in fact the 2nd time I've been contacted via forum pertaining to that skype account recently. If it is any consolation, since you are new to the forums, if you are able to post screenshots of the scam, I can maybe go over it with you and help you become a stronger, more safe trader. Let me know if there is anything I can do.

You posted that in a new thread on March 17th. So you must have recovered your Skype account after it was lost in Jan.

The issue is no longer whether or not you scammed someone, it is your Skype account was used in a scam. Because of this you must resolve it, it not your account will be banned.

Im not familiar with Runescape hacks, does Jagex rollback accounts when items are stolen?

I have had control of my skype account yes, but every time I've tried to go back to it for maybe an old contact I was looking for, the password I had set would be incorrect, and I would have to recover it every time; so yes, as stated, the account is compromised.

Also, to my knowledge, Jagex does not roll back accounts when hacked/scammed etc; also, the act in question was the hacker "dropping" 60M in valuables.

Now, I would love to do anything I can, and as I know I am responsible for the security of my account, there was no involvement by me in this.
Second, If the victim could post proof of having these items, chat logs, etc, I could further help resolve this.
Lastly, could it perhaps be that the victim of this scamming was indeed a scammer? I am just taking a wild guess, but usually when I see a brand new forum account, with no history of trading on this website come here trying to get rid of an account so quickly, that he just gives up the information to some random person? Seems strange.

Now maybe it was just a mistake, first time trader etc etc. But if it were me, I would be insisting to proof of who I was conducting business with, and also would be glued to this forum after such an amount was taken from me. (ie; He hasn't been back to respond with more evidence, etc to pin the scammer.)

Also, on a side note-
I have OCD when it comes to grammar and the pronunciation of words. Basically this means if I see an error in my writing, I am forced to go back and correct it. (This usually means I don't make any grammar, punctuation, spelling typos etc when I write or type)
Now I know that technically I am still liable for my skype account, whether it was me or not; but, comparing my writing to that of the user behind my skype account should suffice as evidence it was indeed not me.
