What is a Steam Gift?
A steam gift is self explanatory. It is a gift where I buy you the choice of your game and get it sent via steam to your steam account or your email address. These steam gifts do come with a Proof of Purchase if requested to make sure the gift is legit and to help you with any account related issues in the future.
How do I use a Steam gift given to me by a friend?
If you do not already have Steam, follow the link in the email you received to download and install Steam. Once you have Steam installed, you will be prompted to create an account or login to an existing Steam account. If you do not have an account, please create one. A pop-up message will notify you that you have received a gift. You must click the "activate" link in Steam in order to redeem your gift. Once you have accepted the gift, you can download the game from the "Library" list.
Do gifts expire if they are not redeemed in a certain amount of time?
Gifts will not expire once they have been issued. Once the gift purchase has been activated, the game is permanently subscribed to the Steam account that it was redeemed on.
Can I gift game packs?
Yes, you can gift game packs the same way you would gift an individual game.
Can I give multiple gifts at the same time?
You can give as many gifts as you'd like at one time, but only to one friend per transaction.
