Attempted FFXI Scammer

A user named Edward_Snowden attempted to sell me a stereotypical scam FFXI account (its the one with the blond haired hume wearing masamune and has a amanomurakumo; it's a cropped picture with items pasted all around the tiny snapshot.) This picture often comes up on Google Images, and has been passed off as a legitimate sell by many, many people on multiple forums (even happened to me last year on EGS).

I knew immediately he was phishing, asked if I wanted to screen share, I said sure, than he said he couldn't because you have to have premium on Skype (you really don't, I did it 30 minutes before) I even initiated it with him myself, told me it was then an update problem; left to update, came back and said...

"[7/15/2013 8:34:30 PM] Jmacc: idk why but it wont let me update it, I keep getting some file error. I'm gonna run to subway then I'll fraps the login for ya. I'll message you soon as I get back."

Left and never came back, has been offline since.

wow.. this guy and dmiz is the same person. He just tried to scam me also....Didn't realized he got banned last night. Watch out for skype username james.brown873. He kept saying he can't screenshare and he don't have updated screen shots because he did it at his friend's house. I saw he got banned and tried to see what he will say. He logged right off after I caught him.

What's funny is they're using the same BS they used on EGS back then. . .it may get newer people but those that were there will remember.
