Are unmerged wow accounts worth it?

Say buying the Epic ones at 40$ each, and searching for items like Corrupted Ashbringer, Atiesh, Legendary items and realm first titles? What are the chances that i can get those items?

I mean theoretically you could but just simply becuase those legendarys were SO HARD to obtain back then your chances are VERY slim. Espically speaking about vanilla Lengdary weapons, I was lucky to have one player on my server with the Hand of Ragnarok and eventually thunder fury. But I mean it worth a shot, never know may get lucky and score one. ^^

I just asked Blizz to help me regain access to my very first account that was compromised back in 2007 in hope I'd get tons of GFed achievements and items.
Well... 200 extra achievement points and about 4 GFd mounts isn't worth it, especially if you're gonna buy them for real money.
