Its leaps and bounds greater than WoW, same gameplay mechanics in a new world with 100x's better graphics and a company that can actually balance classes...

Never played any of the FF online games before but i'm probably gonna get this as i've started to get more interest.

It's by far one of the most beautiful mmorpg's out on the market, the atmosphere is amazing and animations above all is spot on. I could easily sit down by a campfire and just "rp" for an hour just because of how entrancing the whole animations and environments are. That being said the combat is what it falls short on in my book, its not as fluent and responsive as for example world of warcraft witch for me as a pvp player is pretty important, I found the combat to be a bit boring and clunky.

However I will most likely pick it up just for the gaming experience when it comes to things beside combat, it's flawless in graphics, the environments are interesting, exploring is fun and crafting is quite good as well, hell who knows...I might even dip into the PvE of a game for once thanks to this title.

Having played FFXI since NA launch, and FFXIV 1.0 since Alpha, i'll definitely be playing this.
Just need to find someone to sell me the pre-order bonuses haha don't want to have to re-buy the game xD

Never really played the Final Fantasy games, but I must say I am going to give this one a go.

Really fun game, F2p games are always major trash I'd def. recommend picking it up.

I found it to be the exact opposite of fun.

No quest tracking, I randomly ran out of quests at level 10 only to find I somehow missed a quest that didn't show up.

The map system is the worst I've ever seen in a game. EVER.

I tried it out for a while, my biggest pet peeve with the game was the fact that they simply added cutscenes without voice acting, it was cringeworthy to have to sit through cutscenes without voiceacting.
