Amount of Gold it takes to Powerlevel a profession

Whats the amount of gold it takes to powerlevel a profession? and which profession is now the best for holy paladins or paladins in general. Currently I have 525 mining! How much would it take to powerlevel nowadays?

So many variable factors rest on powerleveling via AH. Sever, faction, availability of old world materials. I find that Alchemy is usually the cheapest to powerlevel via auctionhouse, with Engineering a little far behind. Server population can have a lot to do with prices and availability. One server can have a 10 stack of Volatile Life for 40 gold while another has a 10 stack for 150 gold.
