Am I boned? Bought an account then owner petitions it back months later??

Here's the situation:

Bought a game account (EVE Online) from someone here months back, even used a middleman service to make sure the transaction went through smoothly (Fellow named Geek, transaction went smoothly). Communication with the account owner was smooth, even spoke to them about their new endeavors in game afterwards and how they even bought a new starter pack.

Fast forward to today, received multiple emails stating that the original 'owner' has sent complaints about the account and within a certain amount of time, it will revert back to their control.

Now I have already paid for the account on the day of the trade months back, paypal verified and verified receipt of the original owner. I'm still in the process of getting in touch with said original owner but I have yet to receive any replies as of yet...


Am I boned and did I just get scam hammered? I still have all original conversations saved on Skype and the thread is still available here on EPICnpc. I'm able to post proof of the transactions, conversation and have received feedback from said transaction.

There is some sticky to read before posting, like templates etc. If it comes to the conclusion that he did indeed scam, all is not lost regarding getting your money back, even if it did past the 40 day mark with disputing from paypal, things can be done with your card issuer.
