Hi guys,
I'd like to share a scam tactic which seems pretty legit if you're not careful enough.
1. Buyer offers you a price and you're fine with it
2. He recommends a Middle-person in another website or one which you're not familiar with (mine was linked to eliterpvpers, the guy had like 500 feedbacks)
3. What happens is the Middleman adds you on skype instead of you having to add him on. (Checked that the username matches, but the Skype name does not. It doesn't fail as **** but could get you if you're careless)
i) In addition, they will try to rush the deal, something about flying out for work (says he's off to new york at 3pm, only arrives 24hours later. extremely unlikely)
4. Once this happens, you bail the **** out immediately as it's 99.89% a scam.
5. Do note that this often happens with newly created accounts, so try to increase your sense of awareness dealing with them.
i) Beware that even if they have a feedback rating, it shouldn't result in you lowering your guard as it doesn't mean their reputation is rock solid
