Other information: Unable to signin to the account today. No forwarded emails. Account was unable to be recovered via telephone call to blizzard due to invalid CD-keys provided with sale. on 11/12/2011 at 6:30PM, Email was changed blizzard was unable to provide. Account recovery form was not responded to by email since the email address had been changed.

Describe how you were scammed: Account was purchase on 11/2/2011 from krossceeper, sold to gnobiwan on 11/3/2011 for 200.00USD, Gnobiwan has been compensated with an account valued at 375.00USD for the time being. Gnobiwan left the account details the same form purchase and only changed the password. Phonecall to blizzard i was unable to recall the account due to incorrect CD-KEYS.

Krossceeper has agreed to refund me if account is not recoverible. I am calling on the OO to assist me in recovering the account back to playable condition i would like input from every user in this account history, hopefully Dylan will be able to assist us greatly :) :

Did you do any background searching before the transaction? Traced to original owner and, since seanD was high repped before krossceeper i decided to complete the sale.
Have you traded with this person before? No
Approximately how many transactions have you done on MMOBay? 111.

JP has compensated me with an account that I value at $375 to play on till this is settled. I hope to get the original account back.

Used for a few days and decided I diddnt enjoy the classes on said accounts and decided to resell.

Re-sold the account to JP_Devil on the 2nd of November, 2011 for the amount of $55 USD, minus the conversion fee which was paid for by myself.

Jp_Devil made me aware the account was recalled on the 13th of November. I told him I would complete a full refund for him regardless of whether the money is recovered through SeanD or any other persons.

Prior to about 20 mins ago you had no knowldege i purchased that account from kross, you should prob keep better track of the accounts you touch including where it goes after your sale. And its not chain selling its called business. As for that hes not the one reporting the mage missing I am. You tell me this matter doesnt involve you it directly involves you. im out over 300$ right now and you owe to at least find out what happened before you. Workin the chain back to the OO and its down to kress, you and him. Why would i create a fake scammer thread? the first thing you say when i unblock you is you blocked me then how can i help you and your sudden change in demeanor is shocking from what i saw six days ago when you were looking to buy. This is why threads are created to get to the bottom of things not to fight and bicker and flame war.

Sean since you have me blocked, everything in the OP is clearly lined out for you in English.

account email/pass were changed, unable to log in
CD keys were incorrect, so account could not be recovered.


J_P_Devil provides compensation to gnobiwan (account worth $375)
krossceeper agrees to refund J_P_Devil if account cannot be recovered

So basically you guys need the correct CD keys and possibly the ID to recover the account.

SeanD, please contact krossceeper to double check the CD keys first to make sure there wasn't any typo. If there wasn't, then contact the OO to get the correct keys because it seems the ones you have are wrong.

Regardless of the account being resold/traded, if you provide inaccurate account info, in this case wrong CD keys, then the agreement is void.

amoonlitdawnband has been notified.
 
J_P_Devil has sent me a screenshot of the account being active in-game, so someone is currently playing it.

I see amoonlitdawnband has logged in today, but has not posted.

Waiting for updates from amoonlitdawnband and SeanD.
 
Trying to contact amoonlitdawnband right now.

Some info, his name is Dylan P***** he lives in Missouri.

amoonlitdawn is the name of his band, he has a myspace etc etc. Pictures of himself etc etc. I'll get in contact with him one way or another.

He's not answering his phone so im going to contact his parents / wife somehow. In the meantime I'd be more than happy to refund the $55 to kross to refund to whomever he sold it to. I've been on aim but kross is afk.

Got in contact with him he's getting on aim to try and resolve this.
 
SeanD was able to recover the account by calling in. He was told on the phone that amoonlitdawnband had called into Blizzard to recover the account previously.

SeanD also informed me that amoonlitdawnband admitted to him that his friend was the one that recalled the account.

This is resolved as far as me and J_P_Devil are concerned and I will not hold him responsible if amoonlitdawnband recalls it again. Unless amoonlitdawnband can change his SQA and give it to me only, I really do not see any way to fully resolve the issue, as it will simply happen again.

I have given J_P_Devil his rogue back as was agreed upon.

talked to sean again account is back in the rightful place and it will be safe now i can personally guarantee the recall was all a misunderstanding on a friend of mine and J_P_Devil making threats is not a proper response to a game account issue just throwing that out there :)
