I am not saying that ikemikex is a scammer. He was very nice to talk to but the way this all played out, it seemed as if whoever tried to scam people using his own rep but another AIM that he could not have taken credit on a scam for. I know ikemike is a very well repped MD user, this just seemed so fishy and sosuspicious. LOOK OUT!

The first 2 are from when I IM'd ikemikex today and asked if he was still interested in the warlock. This is the day after I was talking to Likemikex on AIM.

Notice that he posted twice in my thread, awfully around the same time that I asked him to on AIM. ikemikex had not contacted me on AIM since the first post had been put on my thread. Why would anyone post twice in the same thread if they didn't even try contacting me the first time?

Watch out for Likemikex on AIM. Make sure that it is ikemikex with an i (eye) and not a L.

Mods you might want to look into this. Feel free to ask me any questions yo may have about this.

Put the Ideas Together and it will lead back to him being a impersonator not the real guy
 
I'm going to follow up this post, I've cleared out my history and don't have my aim logs anymore, however, I'll lay out what happened to me in a scam in which I think ikemikex is responsible for.

Here is the thread in which ikemikex posted, WITH THE EXACT SAME MESSAGE "At work atm, but will contact you later, posting for now "

Within 30 minutes to an hour, I received a message on aim from someone with the screen name Lkemikex (they had the L lowercased to make it look like Ikemikex).

WE TALKED OVER A PERIOD OF 30 HOURS. During this time, I never received an additional meessage from a person with the name ikemikex.

By the end of the deal, I gave him the login info to my account and expected him to pay me with paypal immediately after. After I gave him login, he simply said this "Lkemikex not Ikemikex, look at the screen name", then he logged off. Having dealt with a lot of scammers, they don't typically point out the fact that they scammed you and try to cover for the rep'd user.

KEY POINTS
I never received a message from "the real ikemikex" over the course of the two days I was in contact with the "impersonator"-now its 4 days since the post and I still haven't been contacted by "the real ikemikex" (I made no posts in my thread about the account being scammed (its recovered now) so he wouldn't have known unless he was the scammer).

The "impersonator" made it a point to let me know that he was not the actual ikemikex after scamming me.

The exact same thing happened to the person above-not a coincidence

My take on the whole thing- ikemikex is using his twv rep and posting to gain trust, he then impersonates himself with a fake sn and scams the person while trying to disconnect himself completely from his rep'd account.



PLEASE MOVE THIS TO THE SCAMMER SECTION AND HAVE THIS GUY BANNED
 
Same exact thing happened to me. I have the chat logs showing that I busted him after he said he "Couldn't log on to ikemikex because he got too much spam".

So sketchy of a situation, especially with nicko2612's incident, this guy needs to be looked into and banned.
 
He even asked me "If I wanted in on his scams" as if he was going to turn it around to try to get me banned.

Mods feel free to ask me about any of this.

It needs to be dealt with.

He clearly made this up in his defense.

The last link is the phony conversation he made up obviously in his defense for posting in my thread twice.

wowtraderl809 is obviously not wowtrader1809.

I can show picture image of when I asked him to post in my thread and it will show that the time in which he actually did post was correct.

Why would anyone be so rude to someone when they wanted their account, also, he cannot show proof that he ever talked to me to contact me in regards to my warlock.

Complete phony. Someone please contact me about this. It needs to come to an end.

That person contacted me and told me to post in that thread, i thought it was wowtrader, apparently not, thats the reason for the second post
 
And notice that ikemike hesitated to post on my thread again so that he would have time to make up the phony IM name and IM himself in an attempt to have something to back himself up if things went sour.

He has no other proof of himself talking to me.

Anyone would be concerned as to why someone asked them to post in their thread twice.

Why didn't you contact me then? i posted on your thread for either YOU to contact me or for you to WAIT for me to contact you.
 
Locking thread due to increasing downward spiral it's taking into flame land.

If you have proof of a scam, post it in the correct section with chat logs using the template at the top of the forum.
