Currently threads auto-close after 60 days of no activity. This means no bumps or posts.

Someone recently commented that this is too long for buyers when they're browsing threads and see many open inactive threads.

I want to ask the community if they think this timer should be lowered and if so, how many days is a good amount until a thread should be closed.

15-30 days sound betters . Having 60 days of no activity is way too long

30 days is better.

if you are an active seller there is NO REASON to leave a post without bump or a reply for more than 2 weeks actually. So yeah, 60 days makes so necromancers takes threads back to life, bumping above active threads.

voted for 30 days

maybe not close but make it disappear until thread owner reactivate it ,u know it takes time to make a thread

15 or 30 - best option.

30 days

30 days deadline is best way to start moving.

30 days I think.

Sellers need to continuously update their post, sometimes prices are different from what is actually advertised.

I would say 15 - 30 Days. I would actually go with 15 Days to reduce the spam.

I think 15 days is the best bet since 30.... you are still in the long term... most ppl dont care after 15 days of reading or looking for anything. 15 is the marker I think. :D

30 days. Since we added auto close to threads, it stopped most thread necroing.
A lot of it lately is spamming dead wtb threads in social media threads.

30 days is more than enough. As mentioned throughout the thread - if you're an active seller, there really isn't much reason to abandon your thread for more than that amount of time.

30 days is the sweetspot and also the usual time for classified threads to be closed after 30 days if not sold or no activity across many forum/online boards.
