What is the dispute about? I am making accusation of an account purchase scam by Tina8879
Brief History:
I posted https://www.epicnpc.com/threads/buying-starter-account-with-venti-mona.1779355/ this morning.
I was looking to buy a Venti + Mona Starter Account for ASIA server.
Then about 30 minutes later, Tina8879 approached me via Discord DM.
She offered $40.00 USD for the account, I counter offered $35.00 USD and we settled with $38.00 USD.
I asked what other 4 star characters the account had, and she listed all the characters.
Next, I asked for the picture of the account and she showed me a rather low resolution picture.
I was a little bit skeptical at this point, but I asked for her PayPal address anyways.
Then she provided me her PayPal address: [email protected]
I first transferred the money to her under Item and Services Purchase category.
Then she told me that she didn't like waiting for the 21 days hold and she insisted that I transfer the money under Sending to a Friend/Family Category.
I got the instant refund from her, but I hesitated to proceed for a while as I knew that method does not provide any buyer protection from Paypal.
Then Discord's server went down and we moved our conversation to EpicNPC's PMS.
On there, I told her that I felt uneasy transferring money under that category as this was my first purchase.
Then she assured me that she has good ratings on this website.
I checked her account, and it seemed like this wasn't her first trade.
So I took a leap of faith and transferred the money under Sending to a Friend/Family Category.
Then I told her that I sent the money and she told me she would check.
She told me that she got the money and that she would bring me the account.
And that was the last time I heard from her.
It has been more than 4 hours and she hasn't been answering any of my chats.
I told her that I would report if she doesn't send the account within 30 minutes, and she still didn't answer.
So here I am reporting this case.
