I just noticed. When you try to purchase accounts through tradeguardian and with credits, why does it only show $1 = 125 credits?

Should it not display $1 = 175 credits or even a median of $1 = 150 credits because that's the best deal you can get just on the store alone?
Imean, you could just purchase the $100 package for 17500 credits at the rate of 1 = 175, and buy off an account with the rate of 1 = 125, which the seller still has to resell for an even lower value, thus losing more which may force them to drive the account's price up to compensate. Just a thought.

125 credits to $1 was the rate for a few years before we introduced the packages where you can get a discounts.

The real value of credits would be difficult to calculate and we would have to take into account the following.

- Credit package purchases
- Trade Guardian credit transactions

A system would have to be created that tracks each transaction and assign a value to the sale to determine the value of the credits.

For packages purchases, this would be easy as they're not changeable. For TG transactions, this would be a little harder to do.

For example, lets say someone sells 1250 credits ($10 value) for $5. Currently when they create this TG transaction, they enter $10 as the value and the buyer deposits 1250. We do not know that the buyer only paid $5, so we can't calculate the real value.

Same for items. Someone might sell an account whose real value is $200, but receives $250 worth of credits. We do know know the real value of the item, so again we can't calculate the real price of credits.

This would require an update to Trade Guardian, plus a new system that tracks credit prices.

At this time we are migrating to a new platform, hopefully by August, so we have halted development until the new platform launches. We can consider adding something like this in the future, but most likely this won't make the development queue in 2018 as we expect considerable work even after we make the switch.
