I got an e-mail from blizz stating that Account Verification Needed‏ but it didn't state what account. I have some a few accounts linked to that e-mail account. Im afraid if I follow the link that I was given and log on It would flag that account, and for all I know it could be a fake e-mail. Any advice on what I should do as it seems I've run into a bit of truble with accounts as of late

here is a copy of the e-mail

Account Verification Needed‏

Greetings,

An investigation of your World of Warcraft account has found strong evidence that the account in question is being sold or traded. As you may not be aware of, this conflicts with Blizzard's EULA under section 4 Paragraph B which can be found here: WoW -> Legal -> End User License Agreement
and Section 8 of the Terms of Use found here:
WoW -> Legal -> Terms of Use

The investigation will be continued by Blizzard administration to determine the action to be taken against your account. If your account is found violating the EULA and Terms of Use, your account can, and will be suspended/closed/or terminated.
In order to keep this from occurring, you should immediately verify that you are the original owner of the account.

To verify your identity please visit the following webpage:
https://www.worldofwarcraft.com/log...://www.worldofwarcraft.com/account/index.html
Only Account Administration will be able to assist with account retrieval issues. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter, and your continued interest in World of Warcraft.

Sincerely,

Account Administration
Blizzard Entertainment

It's a fake email. If you do a reply to, it won't go to Blizzard it'll go somewhere else.

I also received this. Again . And again. And again. Hello Spam filter!

DO NOT CLICK ANY LINKS.

ALSO, beware of any emails seeming to be from Blizzard telling you that you've won an Emerald Dream beta tester key.
I started getting those spams around the same time as the 'Account Verification needed' ones. Stay away.

i would recommend just making a separate email for your wow account and markeedragon - that way, anything you get on your markee / internet handle one is obviously fake

helps me deal with the quite a few emails a day!
