I just had a question on buying an account. So say you buy and account like steam, origin or play from someone. How easy is it for the original owner to get access back to those accounts? How do I protect myself from being scammed like that. Aside from doing a middleman and paypal invoices which protect your money. But what about the accounts that you buy? How do you ensure that the original owner won't be able to take the account back once you pay?

When you buy an account you are buying information. The original owner will always know the original info on the account, this means the original owner will always have the ability to recover an account.
That said, when you buy an account the new owner should always fully secure it. This means changing the password, email and if possible secret question or phone number depending on the type of account.
Fully recurring the account is important because if an account has been sold more than once, multiple people might know the info.
The original owner can still contact support and attempt to reclaim it, but support will ask a lot more questions to prove ownership. Almost always only the original owner will be able to recall the account if the buyer fully secured it.
This way if the account is ever recalled, it's easy for us to determine who did it. We will contact that person and have them resolve the issue.
This is why it's important to purchase an account from a trust worthy seller.
