Account frozen by blizzard :/ help!!!!

I bought an account last week, and transfered the char to another server. I changed the email to my own, nothing else. Then last night, the original owner and myself got an email from blizzard saying the accout's been frozen, and the OO need to send in a notarized file (reason from blizzard was inaccurate or incomplete billing info, which is against terms of use) I didn't even setup any payment yet /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

I have no idea how this cought blizzard's attention. the OO lives in Oregon, and I live in Mass /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

anyone has any idea?
 
did you use a email that you've used on other accounts? or did you use a CC for your subscription that you've used on other accounts? That might be why.
 
agree with the above. I also got that as well and the acct was not being used (no time or anything - had been like that for 3 months) - just sitting there. what triggered it was I had the email set to the same email addy of another account that I emailed blizzard about.

They must have checked the accounts registered to that email and froze them all. Was my dumb mistake.

Also got a similiar email when I transfered a toon to another account. Figured the different name on acct/credit card doing the transfer flagged it.
